When you're a celebrity, the media tracks your every move, which can put an ample amount of stress on individuals over time. It can become even worse after you go through pregnancy and face the challenge of losing weight for the cameras.
However, one actress has made it seem easy - Ali Larter, who's best known for her roles on television shows such as "Heroes," was more than pleased to show off her body on the cover of Health magazine, according to Us Weekly magazine.
However, it's worth noting that Larter didn't immediately drop the pounds after her pregnancy calendarcame to an end - it took her five months to get back into shape. While it may seem like celebrities simply flip a switch to lose their baby weight, the fact is that they're just human like the rest of us.
"A lot of women say that they breastfeed and the pounds come right off,'' Larter told the magazine. "But for me and [actresses like] Busy [Philipps], who enjoy our cake, it's not going to come off in two months."
Over the course of five months, Larter was able to lose 45 pounds and get into shape for the magazine shoot. She claimed that working out was the key to her success.
For every new mom, the Mayo Clinic stated that it's important to watch what she eats to shed her baby weight as well. Doctors can give mothers the tips they need to rediscover their pre-baby bodies in a safe, healthy manner over time.
