While most people know her best for her role on "The Facts of Life," Kim Fields is up to more than just acting these days. Now that she's all grown up, she's taken on the role of mother. Recently, Fields announced her second pregnancy with her husband, Christopher Morgan. Seeing as the actress has already experienced pregnancy symptoms in the past, perhaps the second time around will be less surprising!
"Funny enough, for a minute I thought I was getting pre-menopausal [because] certain things were starting to be irregular and then other symptoms started - my memory and I was clumsier than normal which I couldn't even believe was possible," Fields told Access Hollywood. "Then our son got sick with a stomach virus and I caught it. Chris said, 'No, babe, you're a little sicker than Sebastian. You need to go and get that checked out' and I said, 'Okay.' They tested me and said, 'Oh honey, you're not dehydrated. You're two months pregnant.'"
Although you might think you already know everything there is about being pregnant, there's more to learn the second time around. If you're thinking about conceiving, you'll want to talk to your doctor to ensure that your body is able to handle another baby. Once you do so, you and your partner can begin planning financially for another little bundle of joy. With a child already at home, you're going to need to think about how you're going to care for both and handle the responsibilities that come with baby no. 2. Preparing ahead of time can give you peace of mind.
