Are You Ready to Have Another Baby?
Some women are ready to plunge into another pregnancy while they still have one or more children in diapers, others don't even want to think about seeing the pregnancy test come back positive again until their youngest child hops on the school bus for kindergarten! Here are some factors to consider when you're trying to decide whether you're ready to have another baby.
Circumcision: Not Just a Little Snip
Circumcision is as American as apple pie. For the most part, it is not questioned but rather accepted as the standard of care given to newborn babies. Why is this the case?
Bumbo Baby Sitter
Bumbo Baby Sitter - great investment. Does require supervision!
No assembly required. Easy to clean! It is excellent for young 3 mo. - 4 year olds! My children use it to watch TV. I use it to help feed baby. It helps if you have a high chair and baby wobbles around. Very simple product, but for me it has been a life saver! Great investment!
Cons:
Unless you are on the floor you can't leave the child alone in it. No seat belt or restraint. For that reason I give it a 5.Product Link:Evenflo Triumph Advance LX Convertible Car Seat
Convertible car seat by Evenflo - highly rated for ease of use, comfort, and safety!
I wouldn't use this with a newborn since I wouldn't be comfortable with the amount of recline (not that much).
For my newborn, I went with an actual infant seat. But I really like this seat a lot. The harness is easy to do/undo, but hard enough for little hands to have difficulty I think (mine's not old enough or quite strong enough to really try yet).

A mom asked me recently "Should a natural mama ever consider using a pacifier?" I know there are experts who disagree with me, but the short answer is Yes, I could see that happening -- Rarely. Every baby is different and some simply have very strong comfort sucking needs.
You're Having Twins...or more!
"A sonogram just confirmed that I'm carrying twins. I'm excited, but really, really nervous. Getting my head around having one baby on the way has been exciting and a little scary. Now I'm terrified. I don't know how I'll manage having two babies at once!" You will manage as a mother of twins, in ways you never thought possible...
How to Keep Baby from Catching Sister's Colds?
I have a 3-year-old preschooler and now a 2-week-old baby. How do we keep the baby from catching the coughs and colds her older sister gets from school?
SwaddleMe Blanket
I love the Swaddle Me blanket because it's easy to use and keeps baby "snug" all night long. They are offered at reasonable prices as well.
It helped with my baby's colic. My daughter used the same blanket from when she was a newborn to 9 months old. The blankets last for a long time and the quality is top notch!
They have lots of different colors to choose from as well. I can't say enough good things about this blanket.

If your baby is waking up every hour or two to breastfeed, bottle-feed, or locate his pacifier, you may be wondering just what it is that causes him to wake up so often. The reality is that brief nighttime awakenings are a normal part of human sleep, regardless of age. All babies experience these. The difference with your baby, who requires nighttime care every hour or two, is that he is involving you in all his brief awakening periods.
