So my husband and I had our first visit with our midwife today regarding trying to get pregnant a little more aggressively. This step has done wonders for my hope and spirit. My husband and I are excited and a little nervous. My hubby has to do the whole semen analysis first thing in the am and then we are starting on both Clomid and Metformin. While I don't believe I have PCOS because I lack the symptoms (other than being a slightly overweight) and my midwife doesn't necessarily think I do either but she says that they are now recommending treatment with both even if tests come back negative, so we are forgoing the blood work and such and starting with this as the first step. She'll re-evaluate after 3 cycles if we haven't gotten pregnant and go from there. So wish me luck!
