Heath had his 2 year well visit yesterday and the pedi said as soon as she gets the results from the MRI she will call me so I should know before Thanksgiving (MRI is set for Nov 17th)!!! He is up in size from the 5th% on the charts at 18 months to the 12% now. He is not doing any of the 2 year milestones yet but is making progress and can do most of the 18 month ones, now. His ears are clear and his breathing has improved as the weather got cooler. We will be starting speech 2 times a week soon.

This is what the MRI will be looking for http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mayfieldclinic.com%2FPE-Chiari.htm&h=8a85b

He has many of the symptoms and we know from x-ray something is wrong with his C1 and C2 already.

He loved his birthday party on Sunday with family and is always so happy. Spinning around and around is a new skill and he is starting to try and walk backwards.

On Friday we get his new AFO's and this set will help turn his toes in more and give him some hinges at the ankle.

May you have a healthy journey of pregnancy. And please observe your child's health for him/her not be one of our autistic angels and a victim of viruses. In a research paper due to be published next year, an Israeli research team has related children strep throat to obsessive-compulsive disorder. Strep throat may be linked to OCD, autism-spectrum disorders. There is an estimate that up to 2 percent of kids who get strep throat get Obsessive Compulsive Disorder as a complication. This disorder is known as PANDAS. Tic-spectrum disorders, for instance turret’s syndrome, may also be connected to strep throat infections.
