It is just so overwhelming at times. His respiratory supply alone are over 300 a month after our insurance. And I have not even thought about the bills sitting on my table for 11k when he had his 5 day hospital stay. They did tell me at WIC that I should get a package being a BF mom since he is not taking FF that if the baby is on Medicaid I can using his number as the BF mom get his benefits until he is 12 months. They also made a good point that the Medicaid will help pay what DH's insurance does not as far as medical bills but if he qualify for SS (calling tomorrow about how to get that started) then that money is to pay for things like transportation to and from his specialist. So looking at it that way I don't feel so bad as it is a 90 min drive one way 3/4 twice a month gas was adding up and so are the $30 co-pays. Man I feel so blessed we are cloth diapering and breastfeeding and have hand me down cloths from Peter. I don't even want to think of the cost for his surgery should we need it. And I know we already are looking at a few 1,000 more at the end of the month for another sleep study. Thanks for the curage to go get him some assistance and not feel to bad about it. Some of it is still socking I mean he was a 100% normal prego 41 week old and non complicated birth. I wish on no one that your baby ever turns blue. Give all your kids hugs for me. Babies first smiles are so sweet anyway but something about when Heath smiles at me I feel a glow and so lucky apnea alarms and o2 is around to keep him here with us.
