Sandy's Surprise -- More Comfortable Clothes
Read All of Sandy's Surprise -- A Pregnancy Journal
Yesterday was a hectic day! We went out shopping, and by the end of the day I was so tired! It's really weird, but I sort of feel like I can't get a deep enough breath, and my legs buckle really easily. I'm wondering if it's an iron shortage. I'll definitely have to talk to my doctor about that.
Anyway, the good news is I got two new bras at Motherhood Maternity! I decided to get fitted, because my 34 C bras were really not fitting well anymore. Plus, they're underwire and I wanted to switch to something not underwire.
Well, it turns out I am now a 36 D! And the lady said once my milk comes in, I'll likely go up to a 36 E! I had no idea they made E's! So now my breasts are a LOT more comfortable.
Tim would enjoy my new "assets" if he could! The policy at our house right now is, "Look but don't touch!" My sex drive is gone -- if you see it, send it this way, will you?
In other good news, the midwife that I really, really want called! I wasn't there, but she left a message saying that she wanted to set up a time to come talk with Tim and me. As long as she doesn't have a zillion other people due around the same time as me, and as long as we click, we're definitely going to be using her. I can't wait for her to call back so we can set a date! I am so excited to talk about my birthing options with her!
And of course, today's Wednesday, so....15 Week Party!
**********
I finally made contact with my midwife! She will be coming over for a consultation/interview on May 16th. At that point, we'll decide if we want her to be our midwife. I am pretty sure we will though. She sounds really nice on the phone!
She said there was one other lady who was due a couple of days after me, so we'll talk more about what would happen on the off-chance that we both went into labor at the same time on the same day. I am so excited to meet her!
