we're having a baby!

hmmm, on Sunday I broke it to Kristian during Mass that I might need to do a pregnancy test. He took it pretty calmly, bless him, but I suppose as it was during the quiet bit before communion he couldn't exactly put his head in his hands and scream "Oh Lord not again!!!".
He's taken it all fairly well really, I went into the chemists on the way home and bought the simple expensive test, there was a choice of two, one had a list of what it contained that went on far too long (foam rings???) etc so I got the simple 'pee-on-a-stick' one which was not the same brand as the last time when we had Caoimhe (who is now 16.5 months old!). Instead of being blue this one was pink...
So in I went to the bathroom and emerged 3 minutes later with a stick and said to Kristian, 'how many lines can you see?' He looked and said one, I said 'look more carefully' and then he said 'maybe two'. hahaha I think I would use the blue pregnancy test again as I have never seen a fainter line than that second line in my life, actually that is not true the second test done 30 minutes later the second line was even fainter!!! but still it was there...
So there was nothing for it but to go to the doc to get a confirmation. I went the following afternoon and he said that a urine test e would do would probably give the same faint result so let's go for the blood test which will put it beyond doubt. So next morning (which was yesterday) he rang my back with the news that it was positive and givent the levels I was 4-5 weeks pregnant.
