8 weeks, 2 days

Well I am 2 months in, and the nausea is starting to go away. It is not a constant thing anymore just an every once in awhile thing. Still cannot drink coffee without major heartburn. Most of my family now knows about the baby and they are all starting to get really excited.

Boyfriends family still does not know, want to tell them together and in person but do not see them all that often. Not sure how they are going to take the news.

Told the Dad

Well I told the babies Dad last night that I was pregnant. It must have been the scariest thing I have ever done in my life. I love him a lot and didn't want to loss him. In the past 2 years he has repeatedly said he is not ready for kids, does not want any right now and would probably leave if any came.

First Doctor's Appointment

Dear Midwife,

I just recently found out that I am pregnant. I missed my monthly and took a home test it came out positive. I am very happy about this. I have made a doctor's appointment, however it is not for another 2 weeks. I am a bit nrevous about this first appointment as I have no idea what is going to happen or what to expect. So I was wondering what to expect at this appointment, what questions will be asked, what will be done and things I should be asking about?

Thanks so much.

morning sickness

Well I have only known that I am pregnant for about a week however I have suspected it for almost 2 weeks now.

Been feeling extremly sick. Lots of cramps in the lower abdoment and this morning on my way to church, had my very first bout of throwing up morning sickness. I had to sing at church and I was the only one, so started to pray really hard that I would be able to make it throw mass without having to throw up again.
