22 weeks and already 35 inches around -- a whole inch and a half of growth in the past week. Holy holy.
21 weeks today and 33.5inches around.
We saw Anita again yesterday and went over some of the lab results etc. My iron is low, my blood pressure is also low, and my last urinalysis showed a high glucose content. My blood type is B+ so at least I'll never have to worry about the Rh factor being a problem.
The ultrasound tech estimated Sid's weight at around 11.46oz, back in week 19. Today I've been reading that average 22 week old fetus is 12 oz. ! My kid is huge.
19 weeks and 33.25 inches.
We had out ultrasound Friday the 17th of April; it's a boy! An active, squirmy little boy. The doctor said he couldn't find anything to be worried about, and estimates I'm actually about 5-7 days further along than the standard estimate. Makes sense, since I tend to ovulate about that much sooner than they say the average woman does.
The tape measure says my belly hasn't grown, but my pants are definitely fitting differently this week. Perhaps my lower abdomen is filling out more to match the middle/top. Luckily Heather has promised to take me pants shopping this afternoon.
17 wks and an even 33 inches around now.
I weighed myself at the last midwife appointment and it looks like I've gained about 8 pounds so far. I think that's about on track.
I think I've started to feel the baby move sometimes. It feels like someone's gently pressing a fingertip to the inside of my belly, or blowing bubbles against it.
My exercises are going well. I do feel like I have a little more energy, and my legs feel stronger. I actually managed all ten squats last time.
Our next appointment is Wednesday.
Friday, March 27th, we had our first meeting with Anita at Sacred Waters to check the place out and get to know her a bit. It went great; we both felt comfortable and relaxed with her, she was very friendly and informative. She kept laughing at how 'mellow' we were.
She let us listen to the baby's heartbeat with a Doppler -- our first time hearing anything like it. It was going 150 beats per minute; Anita gave Curtis a wide-eyed look and said, "Your kid is a wild one."
Need to call back today to schedule our first official exam.
Second trimester and an even 32 inches around. My belly is protruding past my breasts. How are people NOT noticing this? Are they just too polite to say anything?
first significant belly growth in a little while -- 31.25 inches now. have mostly been filling out in the lower abdomen. my pants are really starting to get uncomfortable.
31 inches today. A half-inch more than last week. If I continue at this rate I'll be 47.5 inches by the end. That sounds enormous.
Morning sickness seems under control at this point, touch wood. The other day I suddenly wanted macaroni and cheese; Curtis finds this hilarious since I usually hate mac and cheese. Early this morning I woke up hungry and badly wanted a steak. I settled for a fried egg and toast.
