Aww, that's such a cute emoticon, Julia! I am sooo excited now but also sooo frustrated!!
How is the process going for you? I hope you're finding some answers and getting what you need with this break!
Hmmm, Sandy. Depending upon the age, of course, you could send Teether toys or a lovey--maybe even a monogrammed lovey. I love the idea of sending a soft photo albumn. Be careful of the cute one made by Sassy, though, as it states it is PBT-free but a recent safety warning indicates it is not.
What's PBT? And thanks for the warning, Elicia! Anyone know any other brands that make these - and where I can find one?
Phthalate is a toxin that is apparently in plastics that babies can take in when they chew on plastic toys. Here's the link on the Sassy photo book and a picture of it---scroll down to the top of page 49: http://uspirg.org/html/2006DangerousToyList.pdf
Oh Sandy. Your posts are so sweet!! I love reading them, I cant' wait until you have her in your arms, your going to be such an amazing mom! She is so blessed to have you and your dh in her life, and to be her parents.
I think sending a care package is a great idea, I hope that they will let you!
I can't think of anything else to add, but if I do I'll let you know!
oh eta: your questions, things are going really good! We'll of been in our new house 3 weeks tomorrow - it's so great to have our own place. Were slowly getting moved in, most of the boxes are unpacked so now were just trying to organize everything, it'll be nice once that's done! lol
We've received some of our answers, and were both really at peace with where where were at and excited about what the future holds Once things are in motion again I'll give an update. Thanks for asking, your so sweet! ((Hugs))
