    Default Bruising??

Hi ladies! I have been bruising as of late really easy. I've also been fatigued. Iron tests have come back around 12. I want to start ttc soon, and I'm worried that something else could be wrong. Does anyone else bruise easily? I wake up with tons of bruises on my legs and arms. Someone suggested liquid vitamin k. Is this a good thing to try? Thanks!

hum i can`t really help you here but did you see a doc about it? I would if it worries you. I bruise easily if I hit myself on something but not just lying down.

Yeah, I bring it up, and it feels like they just brush it off. But, it is disturbing. I counted 23 bruises on my arms and legs this week. They also take forever to go away.

Your iron is really low! I think it should be like 65-165 so 12 is too low.

I have very low iron as well and I always will bruise easily and be very fatigued when my iron is low. I take a supplement and that helps tremendously. I had to take even more of it when I was pg with all 3 of my kiddos.

GL - I hope you'll get a 2nd opinion and KUP on what they say.

My mom bruises very easily, as do I. I don't think there's anything wrong with you, certainly nothing that would deter you from TTC, but if it's really bothering you, I would talk to your doc about it!

I'm going to ask for a full panel when I go to the o.b. for my yearly appt next week. I think it is too low..but I looked at my bc and it has potassium in it, and it can't be that. We shall see. I will update soon! Thanks for all the support and advice!
