95% humidity at 6am this morning, then grey skies all day with torrential rain around 11am.

In general if I don't see the sun then I consider it "miserable"

Update on my work visa situation:

I got the official notice about my work visa and it turns out they never received the first set of documents I mailed off when I submitted the application online. So it's not anything out of the ordinary that is holding it up; just darn annoying. So I sent off a new set today and hopefully this will fix everything. If luck is on my side it will only be a 2 week delay.

Thanks ladies Day 3, doing great although the moods swing are a'coming lol.

Maddie, I'm jealous of the heatwave you guys are getting! I couldn't hack it but it's better than the dull and rainy days we're getting at the min.

Roxi, I hope all is going good with you

    xx

Kristi- WHATTT!!!? Jealous of the heat wave!? Girl, you CRAZY! lol. I would rather have dull and rainy! It's wayyyyy to hot. I can't even go outside hardly.

Roxi- Sorry that they didn't receive the documents. That's definitely a PITA. But I'm glad it's an easy fix.

DH is being a food **** and water **** now. I haven't really been eating enough. I am not hungry like... or at least not often. He's started calling me on his breaks at work to make sure I eat. So I have to eat breakfast around 6:30 with him. then a snack (at least 10 carrots and a fruit) at 9. then lunch is at 11:40. Then another snack at 2. then dinner at around 5. then another dinner at about 8. That's the plan at least. Starting today.

yesterday I didn't eat much at all. I ate lunch at about 3:30 or so and then didn't eat again until 10 at night. I fell asleep at about 7:30 and woke back up and he had me eat. I don't know what the deal is.

I dry-heaved this morning though and have been feeling pretty nauseous all day. Boo on ms

Aw, Maddz, sorry you're still suffering with m/s I can't imagine eating so little... I'm hungry every 3 hours at least!

Kristi: thanks, so far so good. Checked USPS.com and the documents were delivered about an hour ago. Just waiting for the official proof of delivery.

On the other hand...... I got my results back and I failed everything miserably. So badly that they probably wondered why I even bothered showing up!!

We are home now until tomorrow night so DH can work a few days. I need to mow the lawn and it's supposed to be in the 90's with high humidity. It seems the days we are home from the lake are the hottest. My oldest two DDs survived their week at residential camp. They had a great time. It was their first time staying overnight for the week. DD3 and her cousin went to day camp again this year and are ready for residential camp next year. We had a full house for the week with family visiting. It's fun to have ppl visit but also nice to have the place back to ourselves. DH's parents came home with us and are leaving sometime today. DD1 hit her head the day before camp and split it open so DH had to put a few staples in it. She was worried it would limit her camp activities but DH said she could swim and do normal activities.

@Maddie: If I re-register then I will rewrite in Oct/Nov. I'm still debating whether it's worth the stress and aggravation... It really causes issues between DH and me, especially since he thinks I don't put in enough work. It's just so hard to decide to throw in the towel when I'm this >< close to finishing, especially after working at it for 6+ years!

I didn't get an official delivery confirmation from USPS but I did get one from the Immigration services so I know they got the docs this time. Unfortunately it can take up to 60 days before they give a response on the whole application so as of 7/6 I am now not allowed to work.

@Meg: sorry to hear that DD1 hurt herself at camp, but great that they had fun overall! I went to camp a couple times growing up but it's not a common thing in South Africa.

We just got back from our 2-week vacay yesterday and the house is in such a state now (pre-upacking). It was a fantastic trip but I'm glad to be back with my Furbaby.

We're doing the big Facebook announcement this week!! YAY!

Roxi...Glad you had a great trip. It's always nice to get home when being away for a while. I try to get my house cleaned up as good as possible before I leave. It's nice to come home to a clean house but then it doesn't take long to get messy again with unpacking.
