I kniow we have the Frugal board, but this is more a general question/comment.
I saw that "Extreme Couponing" show recently and was surprised that US retailers let people do that. In Canada you cannot. Up here, all coupons say "one per order/product/purchase" so if you have 50 cents off of something, you can only use one coupon on that item and only buy one of those items with a coupon in your total purchase, and you cannot stack that with other coupons. Or am I misunderstanding what people are doing on this show? Up here I wouldn't be able to use more than one coupon on a single item, and I couldn't use more than one of the same coupon in any purchase. If I wanted to use another coupon I would have to come back and run through another purchase.
That being said, I have been trying to review coupons more and try to use them. The problem I'm having is that they expire before I get to actually use them.
How should I sort coupons? By product, expiry? I just have a pile now and not sure how I should go about it.
