Default Dealing with summer heat in pregnancy?

Question for the Answer Box (i.e. responses from YOU!): We're expecting ? an August baby! Just realized that it will be miserably hot during my last trimester. I know it's early but how did you deal with the heat during those final weeks of pregnancy?

I didn't notice it much with my first (born end of July) but we lived where it rarely got over 80F. However, I did notice it with my second because we had to spend so much time outside due to my first child and we had moved to place where it was close to 100F for the summer.

There are the obvious answers of staying inside with fans/AC and staying hydrated. My neighbor had a misting sprinkler that hooked up to the hose which was fantastic to sit in. We also did more outside in the evening instead of during the day.

Best advice I can give is to remember to always keep the baby in the shade, and obviously allow the car to cool down before bringing the baby on-board.
