Her room looks ace! I had the same colour walls when I was a teeny bopper haha.

Jules, girls are crazy right! I feel like I am going to have a rough time with DD as she gets older pffft.

Bonita, I'm glad you got the funeral details through. They're never nice but I bet DH is glad he gets to go.

    I am shattered today.

DBF got struck down with a 48 hr bug on Saturday, burning up, shakes, sweats which left me to entertain DD and run after him. I ended up taking her to see my sister and she ended up going to the park with my 11 (almost 12) yr old nephew. He was so happy to have her to himself because she's normally hounded by his siblings and he never gets a look in!

Yesterday, DD had 2 birthday parties to go to. The first was at a gymnasium for 1 hr and 45 min and the 2nd was in a farm barn for 3 hrs!! It was brilliant though, there were bouncy castles, an out door play area and a merry-go-round so she had tons of fun. My feet were killing me by home time haha.

Kristi....sorry you had to deal with sick DBF. Hopefully no one else gets it. Sounds like DD had a busy weekend. I'm sure she and you are birthday partied out. The party at the barn sounded really fun. Hope you were able to put your feet up and get some rest.

The word that I do have problems with is "weird." It just came up on a spelling list and DH said "it's weird that 'i' doesn't come before 'e' in this word." So now I remember that one.
Google Crome has spell check. It seems to be fixed now though.

I'm glad I didn't know that going into it because I wouldn't have picked out this color. I'm glad we did it though!

Looks nice. Your girls are very blessed.

Sorry you had a rough day.

AFM - We found out that the Westboro Baptist Church is planning to picket the funeral on Saturday. DH was very upset about that. I do not understand why someone would do that. If you want to protest, go protest the White house or some place in Washington. Not some poor soldiers that gave his life's funeral.

In other news, I have been working on losing weight ever since I found out I had PCOS this summer. (I had been trying to lose weight before that with little success.) The doctor put me on metformin and I have now lost 20 lbs. I went shopping today to buy a new dress for the funeral and was excited to be able to buy a smaller size. My shorts kept falling down to. Slightly annoying, but a good annoying.

Bonita...I'm so sorry about the picketers. I don't get why they have to do that either. It is so disrespectful to the soldier and his family. He sacrificed his life for our country and us so just let him rest in peace.

That's great that you are doing so well with your weight loss. Way to go!! What have you been doing to lose it? I understand about the good annoying of your pants not staying up.

I really haven't been doing much different than I was before. Just watching what I eat. I think it was the PCOS that was making me gain weight, so taking medicine for that is making me lose weight. I am being really careful with what I eat, but I was before too.

They have a legal right to picket. Crazy how the people they are picketing is the reason they have that legal right.

Yay for 4lbs lost!! It has taken me a long time. If I was more motivated and started exercising, I am sure it would go faster.

DH hid the parade candy from me. I kept eating the little tootsie rolls and chewy candy from it and I said to him last night he's going to have to hide it so I quit eating it. He really did hide it, he took me seriously. When I went to get a piece I couldn't find it. I guess it's better for me. Sadly that's the only way that will stop me from walking by the basket and picking up a piece.

I also have to ask DH to hide candy from me.

So the memorial service was postponed to a time that we can not make it. A huge drama filled situation. I feel really bad that we will not be able to make it, but there is nothing we can do about it. It is a 750 mile trip.

Bonita...that's too bad the memorial was postponed so now you can't go.

DH is crabby with me tonight. Oh joy! His night off and he has to be a crabapple. Hopefully he will be over it by morning so we can have a pleasant day on his day off.
