None of my children have EVER reacted to anything before, so this new to me!
Dalton, my 1 year old has never so much as had a red mark on his face... but a few days ago he broke out with what looks like acne? It is also on his groin area...
He has not acted differently... does not appear to be in pain... etc...
But today (tmi) he is extremely constipated?
We introduced cows milk back when he was 11 months and I ate dairy while I breastfed (we are still breastfeeding) so I am really not sure milk is it?
He did have some peanut butter last week and the week before... is this a possibility?
Thanks for your help!
What about tomato's or oranges? I know that will cause a simular rash on my Heath.
Hmmm.... thinking back... we have had a lot of peaches, but no oranges. I know we had a few tomato based things but not a fresh tomato... he had peaches again this morning but no outbreak.
Blueberries? Are blueberries big allergens? He had A LOT at his grandparents house Sunday and again on Tuesday...
I was thinking also.... that I had used oxy clean in my towel load! We use washcloths to wipe his face down (new one every time, i have like 300 in my kitchen LOL!) and it is mainly his face that has been affected...
Hmmmmm.....
Mystery......
ETA: I mean a CLEAN one every time LOL... I don't throw them away after one use LOLOLOL!!!

Tomato based things even tomato powder in things will do it to Heath.
Ok good to know!
I see improvement today... the constipation resolved itself.. so I am going to wait till his face clears and then introduce my suspicions back in one at a time.. see if anything happens again. I hope its not an allergy, but if it is I am glad his reactions are not severe!
Blueberries are an allergen - but it seems strange to be paired with constipation since blueberries are good for cleaning you out! Our son is allergic to blueberries and he broke out completely in hives.
Could maybe be the peaches though?!?

Gosh I just dunno! He has made a complete turn around!
We reintroduced the peanut butter= no reaction
We reintroduced the blueberries=no reaction
He had peaches yesterday=no reaction
He had a few red spots from crawling around in the grass, but they are gone this morning too!
Kids are sucha mystery!
If none of the foods is doing anything... what about maybe heat rash? That can crop up weirdly... and could be just a coincidence he was a bit constipated at the same time.
This happened to my DD a few months back, she got welts all over her body all of a sudden and scratched them constantly. We finally took her to the doctor and it was just eczema (just like her mommy has!). He gave us a prescription for a cream and things have been fine ever since. She actually only had the one breakout. It was the weirdest thing, and I thought that maybe it was some sort of allergic reaction. I would take him to the pediatrician just to be sure though...
