Default Helping kids deal with visitation

Answer Box: Presently going through a divorce and have been the primary caretaker for my 3 year old and 5 month baby. My soon to be ex has been court-ordered visitation to start next week. I know the kids and I have no choice but I'm heartbroken and fearful of how they will do. Any advice on how I can help them with this transition? He won't even discuss with me.

It's hard to comment not knowing the circumstances. Here in the UK, there are centres where visitations take place. I'm sure as the children are still so young then this will not affect them too much as long as they are seeing their father.

Kids adapt really well and as long as this is a regular occurance I think they will be just fine. Good luck!
