I know I am a newbie, but...

I would truly appreciate all the well wishes, prayers or magical love vibes you can send my way! I am 23w3d pregnant and currently in pre-term with my second daughter. We have done magnesium sulfate, Incodine(sp?), steriods for little miss Tessa Elaine's lungs and in the process of discussing a cerclage. Any love or well wishes you could send our way would be greatly appreciated!

Hoping that they can get your labor stopped and keep baby in as long as possible. I was in the hospital at 33 weeks with my DD on Mag. Sulfate and I do not wish that experience on anyone. Hang in there... one day at a time

Procardia has seemed to work wonders! My contractions were about 4min apart from fri morn until mon morn, but they have really slowed down. Took me off the continuous toco which was a nice relief! Tessa's heart rate did begin to dip during some severe contractions but she seems to be doing fine now Smile I am off the fluids and went from 30mg procardia to 10mg, so as of now we are at a wait and see approach. Thanks so much for the well wishes, everyone!

Terrific Jamie!! I am so very glad to hear your news! :bigarmhug:We will continue to keep you both in our thoughts and prayers!

How is Emma doing with you being in the hospital? Has she been able to come visit? I know that this is hard on both of you. Hopefully everything will stabilize with Tessa and you'll be able to transition to home health care (as long as you are able to follow the restrictions!!)

(Btw -- I meant to include this note for others when I responded before. This member is not exactly a "newbie" but a dear "oldie" reincarnated. LOL Jamie, drop me a note if you'd like me to merge your old account information over to this one.)

The blessing in all of this, Missy, was that I was admitted Friday morning and Emma left Saturday morning for an already planned vacation. She will be gone until August, so thankfully she can enjoy her swimming/golf lessons and time with Nana & Pop while Momma handles things here, on her end! Thanks so much for asking!

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I had a cerclage put in about a week and 2 days ago and have been on bed rest since then.

Hope the baby keeps baking.
