Hello all! I joined this site about a week ago, but I don't know what took me so long to find it! I don't remember where I initially saw the article, but I found an article on everywomanstalks.com (or something similar) about top pregnancy websites... and this site was one of them.
I am currently 19 weeks (as of yesterday/Saturday) due with my fourth baby on May 10, 2014.
About me/my family:
I live in the midwest, near the Great Lakes.
I am 29 years old, my birthday is the now-memorable September 11.
My husband and I have been married since August 22, 2009.
Our son was born April 5, 2010, at 1:09am... the day after his due date.
Our daughter was born September 3, 2011, at 3:54am... the day after her due date.
Our second daughter was born November 27, 2012, at 8:34pm... the day before her due date.
To say the least, my screen name is BlessedbyBabies because in our short time together, the Lord has blessed us with babies. :-)
Just some basic info. about my pregnancies:
My first labor was the longest, at about 6 hours from time-able contractions to pushing him out.
Both my daughters were about 2.5 hours labor, each.
While I still am not quite halfway there, I am already slightly nervous for this upcoming labor and delivery.
Apparently, due dates based off my last menstrual period are pretty accurate. ;-)
My pregnancies have all been smooth and uncomplicated, and so far this one has as well. The mid-pregnancy ultrasound is scheduled for Monday, December 23, at 11am, and my husband and I are very excited... and I'm not going to lie, we are sort of hoping for another boy.
Hi & welcome to Pregnancy.org! We're happy you've found us and I also loved all the getting to know you notes! :)
It does sound like your due dates are fairly predictable. My own were all over the map from 2 weeks early to 15 days late.
We have a terrific group here for you to share your journey with (incl. all of us stalkers. LOL) Be sure to post your ultrasound results and let us know if you're once again on Team Blue!
