    Snappis are so great! I used prefolds and they make diapering a piece of cake!


    To the OP... Definitely buy second hand! So much of baby stuff hardly gets used and you can get great deals on stuff that is practically brand new!

    Also, I am an absolutely minimalist when it comes to baby gear. I have 5 kids and don't own a playpen or swing or jumper... All we've got is a bouncy chair (hand-me-down) for when they are really little and an exersaucer (garage sale) for when they are more active. Really think about each purchase and wait until after baby is born when you can to find out if it is something you need or can get along without.

    Cloth diapering has saved me a ton of money! I didn't get into it until my 4th and really regret it.

    Babies don't have to be expensive. At the end of the day all you need is a carseat, safe place for them to sleep, and a few sleepers
