Mother's Day can be a really unique and exciting experience as an expectant mother! We are currently seeking your input for an upcoming article on how you celebrated "Mother's Day" while pregnant (or how you plan to!)
Did your significant other surprise you with a mother's day gift? Did you treat yourself? (If not you should!) Did you perhaps announce your pregnancy (or again -- looking for ideas on how to?)

My DH took me out for supper and gave me the "pregnant" willowtree figurine. http://willowtree.info/product/home It was really sweet and unexpected. I had plans for him for Father's Day but due to being in the hospital with gallstones the plans never took place.

I know it's not exactly what you are looking for, but for my Mom on Mothers Day, the first time I was pregnant, I gave her the Mary Engelbreit mug that says "Each time a baby is born, so is a Grandma". My Mom collect Mary Engelbreit!
As for announcing; I used this poem the first time:
I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,
I don't yet have a name.
You can't yet hold my tiny hands,
Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
Or cuddle me so near.
But all will change come October,
That’s when they say I'm due.
I'm your new grandson or grand daughter;
I can't wait till I meet you.
All I ask between now and then
Is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait,
Because of all the love we'll know.
So what I have to give you now,
Is a wish to you from me.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this wonderful family.
For our last Pregnancy, we just went out to breakfast, and then spent the day in the backyard enjoying some relaxing fun! For me, a big chubby 7 months along worn out Mamma of 2 boys (soon to be three) and on the heels of an approaching Angel birthday... it was the best day I could have!
