It's time to hop on board the A-N-N-I-V-E-R-S-A-R-Y Word Train! The concept is simple. We start the game with a word that begins with the letter "A". The next person must post a word that begins with the letter "N". The third person, again posts a word beginning with the letter "N". Next person posts a word starting with "I" and so on... all the way through the letters of the word "ANNIVERSARY"! After the "Y" word, play begins again with the letter "A"! You may play as often as you wish until the deadline on Saturday, September 10th at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Each time you participate (1 post) = one entry. You may play as much as you'd like!
Please turn OFF your signatures to play.
All posts must adhere to our Community Guidelines (Remember - we are a family friendly site and this is meant to be fun. Inappropriate content will be removed and may cause a temp. ban if warranted.)
Words are posted by members -- one after another -- with each word beginning with a letter (in order) from the word "Anniversary". To begin play, we'll post a word beginning with the letter "A". The next person must post a word that begins with the letter "N". The third person, again posts a word beginning with the letter "N". Next person posts a word starting with "I" and so on... all the way through the letters of the word "ANNIVERSARY"! After the "Y" word, play begins again with the letter "A"!
The same player cannot post twice in a row! (In other words, no fair talking to yourself -- even though we do it too!!)
If two people post at the same time off the same question, the next player may choose which word to play off of. Players that follow then continue play as normal.
