FINALLY..............![]()
Sept. 26th - 30th has been designated as National Coffee Week!
so............. what is your favorite brew? Are you doing anything special to celebrate?
********************************
Out of necessity (and budget) - mine is simply straight, black... not overly strong but definitely not weak! I NEED the caffeine! LOL
I'm with Missy! (except on the strength...)
Living in Seattle might also add to my enthusiasm. My plans to celebrate include checking the local Starbucks for a free coffee, making sure I try a new flavor this week.
I like plain old black coffee. Right now my favorite beans are Kona, Tully's and Seattle Best. Any of these are wonderful if made strong enough to melt the spoon or walk out of the cup and go get a job.![]()
OOHooooOOOOOO COFFEE WEEEEK!!!! This is better than CHRISTMAS!!!
I am also a black coffee.. stronger the betterOut of financial necessity, and my husbands WAY wimpier tastes... we are Folgers Folks...
But when I get a dollar or twelve in my pocket? HELLO STARBUCKS... Vente Americano with an extra shot and whipped cream
Or a Pumpkin Spice Latte if I am feeling Sassy...
YES!Pumpkin Spice Latte if I am feeling Sassy
It's my yearly treat. That and pumpkin curry from Mae's on 3rd and Pike-n-Pine, downtown Seattle.
Yummmmmmmmmm.....but I've had to cut back so much on my daily habit!
Mostly due to budget we're also Folgers folks, but I gotta say I really don't love it. I like my FiveBucks...err Starbucksfor sure, but we have a nice little independent coffee shop in the town I work in, and they make a Vanilla Caramel Latte that is heavenly!

Coffee week YAY!
Love my coffee~~
At home I have a Keurig coffee machine and I love it!!! I like the breakfast blend or morning blend. I also like Pumpking and Donut Blend. I take it with light cream and 1 sugar.
I used to go to Tim Hortons a lot for a large regular but now that i have my machine I don't go as often... like mine better!
Love coffee! We use a french press at home and it makes a world of difference! Being part Canadian now I stop by Tim Horton's quite a bit too...

Keurig all the way!
I swear we save so much money having that thing!! I wouldn't have thought it! Making a pot of coffee we always wasted a bunch because we only drink one cup each. With the Keurig, I get 54 coffees at Timothy's (I think that's a Canadian chain - they make all kids of flavoured k-cups) for $39 no tax! That's $0.72 a coffee! Way cheaper than what we were getting at Tim Hortons each day! And I can have a different flavour whenever I want! I love their Kona and Chocolate Cake flavours!
