Hi all!
We're compiling an article centered on YOUR (Pregnancy.org members!) resolutions for 2012! Help us out by listing your top 3, 5, or 10 resolutions! You can share as a parent, for your personal life/fitness, baby-making (*grin*), work/career goals, and more! We want to hear it all!
Thanks in advance!

*Get back into shape! I don't care how much weight I lose, I just want to lose the belly and feel goodI'd like to run a marathon next year but I'm not sure I have the time for that quite yet.
*Get back into FlyLady! Enough said, my house was so much more managable when I did it, but lately I've let it slip and find myself struggling to keep up with everything.
*Love on my babies even when they are being sassyIt goes too fast! I think I've gotten better at picking my battles over time. Last year I vowed to stop yelling, which I did pretty good at but I'd like to really eliminate it completely this year.
*and once again start saving for Christmas as of Jan. 1st...I did this last year and I'm SO much less stressed about the holidays this year![]()

I luurrrrrve to lurk!
I'm not generally a new year's resolution kind of gal but this year is different.
I've already begun one: start working on my MBA (master's program). I've been accepted for Jan 2012 and orientation is next week - eeek!
I need to get healthier. I'm not making any specific weight goals or the like. I've had some not-so-great news about my health lately and it's time to change. I need to:
- eat like a healthy person
- move like a healthy person
- take my medicine and monitor my progress
- commit - to DH, to my children, to myself that I can make these life changes permenantly.

I usually don't do them but I do have a few things...
**get back into bellydance class
**get the gym more often
**get out and about with Sebastian more as both my hubby and I haven't really taken him out much since getting home in September.
**have some *date* time with the hubby as right now we don't
**work on journaling/writing more to my son which I started when I was pregnant but slowly let it go for a while and now I am trying to get back into it. I have a online journal for it and also a paper one as well.

These are great. Keep 'em coming.
For me...
I am committed to learning new ways of dealing with stress
..and while I'm taking those deep breaths, I will
--recall the good things, those things I'm thankful for
--be in the now. I'm not going to regret yesterday or live for only tomorrow. I'm going to live right now and enjoy those things that fall in my path.
Jules, just wanted to comment about this thought. We had a culture "unfreezing" at work and the company that facilitated the retreats coined a phrase, "Be Here Now". There is a whole section on just that. It's something that I've really taken to heart and try to remind myself of every day whether I'm listening to one of my team members or one of my children or my DH.
Good for you. That simple reminder phrase has really helped to remind me to appreciate where I am at any given moment in time. Love that goal.
