    Default orchiopexy?

Does anyone have any experience with undescended testes? My 2 year old is scheduled fora bilateral orchiopexy (neither of his testes have descended) and circ revision and I am juts looking for anyone who might have had some experience. I'm nervous about it all but just thinking about the practical stuff. Like his surgery is at 11 am and he can't eat for 6 hours prior, so do I wake him at 4am to eat or just try to keep him distracted that morning? How will we buckle him into his car seat afterwards? How will we keep him from injuring himself afterwards, he's a very active little guy! How long is the recovery? How do you care for the incisions when they are covered by a diaper most of the day? Any input is welcome. feel free to pm me if you aren't comfortable posting

Oh my goodness... I'm sorry I don't have any formal input, but I just wanted to say that I hope everything goes well with your DS!!

Thank you! It went well and he's doing good. I_did wake him to eat at 4am and I'm glad I did, we kept him busy enough before we left after he woke in the morning that he didn't seem to notice skipping breakfast.
