Oops, forgot to do this on Friday!

What was the name of your first pet?

Merlin. He was a turtle. My mom hated him but I really loved him. My mom never let us have pets so this was a huge win for me. Not exactly a dog but at least I got to keep him in my room and take care of him.

Noireau (Blacky is French). We had the dog for a week or two but my parents gave him away because he was a hand full and my sis and me were too young to take care of him.

Hahaha sorry but this made me laugh!! My DBF is obsessed with the thought of having a turtle, or lizard. N-O spells NO!

Mine was a yorkshire terrier called Sparky. I loved him SO much but my parents got rid of him Sad They asked me at the time if I wanted to go with them but because I was too young to understand, I chose to stay with a friend at her house. Needless to say, when they came back with no Sparky I was in bits!!

I had two budgies named Tweetie and Tansy. When my mother was pg with my sister she gave them away to my aunt. I guess she didn't want to take care of them anymore (I was *only* 3) Sad We did have a couple dogs before that, Gypsy (who was my aunt's dog we were looking after until she gave it to our neighbours) and Muffet (but my parents had her before I was born)... I vaguely remember Gypsy but no memory of Muffet.

We had a pure-bred Irish Setter named Corky (her registered name was Mac Corky Dale, which is a take off on my mom's maiden name!) Had her from the time I was a year and a half, until we had to have her put to sleep when I was 16. Sad She was high strung, strong as an ox, and SO playful. But she was always a sweetheart when dealing with my sister and I.

Calvin, he was a dalmation and I loved him so much... he was so bad though! He did nothing but bite all the time!
