What are you doing on Black Friday?

Usually I tend to avoid the crowds and craziness that shopping on Black Friday can provide. This year we'll be at my bil's and his wife loves Black Friday shopping. I possibly will be talked into tagging along. Smile And knowing Abby, I'll enjoy myself tons. What are your plans?

Shop, of course!

Avoid the mall like the plague

Work; someone has to take your money...

Veg with an old holiday movie marathon

Have a game-a-thon day

Put up holiday decorations

Eat leftovers
Unbloat from all that food yesterday

Plan a craft party -- if you borrow some of the friend's kids, they'll owe you big time

I'm going to go shopping with my mom. I'm not a crazy that gets up super early and stands in line for something though. I like to go a little later for the atmosphere and ppl watching. DH is the one that is working so depending on the weather I might go to the ISU game. Maybe just tailgate though. If I don't go to the game I'll probably put up holiday decorations. My girls will be gone for the weekend and DH works all weekend so I'll have the whole weekend myself. The girls' aunt takes them shopping on black Friday. She's one that gets them up super early and stands in line with them. I think she's a little crazy because my girls are bad shoppers on an non-busy day. More power to her...I get a free weekend then!

I avoid shopping on Black Friday like the plague! This year I'm being induced that day if my little girl isn't here before then! That's my idea of a good Black Friday!!

It depends on where we are. I actually love to go out into the crowds on Union Square. I don't attempt to shop for anything, I just like to watch all the people and the tree-lighting after dark. We might be making a little road trip that weekend if the weather is good so I might be hiking at Pinnacles or in the redwoods.

Meg, I LOVE the relatives who volunteer to take the kids shopping, especially shopping for shoes.

Dawn, I live about 2 miles from a huge mall and shopping area. Even thinking of spending the day there makes me shiver.

Stacey, I'm wearing your avatar today -- almost. It's a black t with white koi forming a yin/yang.

Margaret -- no BF. I suppose the fact that it's also not the day after Thanksgiving says something, too.

Natalie, your Black Friday plans might be the most awesome!

Some stores have tried in the last couple of years to have BF but doesn't really work when pretty much everyone is working. In Canada the big shopping day is Boxing Day (December 26th). As a kid I loved getting money for Christmas so I could spend it on Boxing Day sales.
