What was(is) your "MUST HAVE" item during Pregnancy?

During pregnancy, what item(s) did you (or do you!) find absolutely indispensable!? Was there something you simply couldn't live without (or at least preferred not to?) Have you found something that made your pregnancy woes more bearable? Found a product that helps you feel more connected to your baby?

Share your personal faves and perhaps you'll be included in our upcoming article! When it comes to what pregnant moms need (or want) -- YOU are the expert!

Two words: EXTRA PILLOWS. Or for some it would be one of those special pregnancy pillows. In any case at one point in time with EVERY pregnancy sleep was NOT going to happen without them.

Tea Tree Shampoo!!! I swear, my hair turned into a greasy mess. I could fry a burger on my head on a hot day! NO shampoo helped, except the Tea Tree!

Cola. I know for most it is not ok but prego for me my BP drops. So the only way to keep it up and me from being lightheaded or getting migrains I had to up my caffeine and coffe made me sick. I also added salt (all told to me to do by the OB as something to try before going to BP meds)

I actually had to have coffee with Faith. I had originally given it up before I got pregnant with her, but I started having massive headaches about 12 weeks that wouldn't go away. I tried EVERYTHING and the only thing that worked was a cup or two of coffee a day. OB said if it helps go ahead.

Patience. For both myself and for others dealing with a crazy pregnant lady Smile

The only "item" I can remember being indispensible was comfortable shoes.

But in the non item column, patience would be my answer also. Not my own but definitely dh's.

For me it was my body pillow. I literally could not sleep without pain if I didn't have it! I still love it even now but DH has banned it from the bed! LOL

I have to agree with the body pillow! I used it during both of my pregnancies and even traveled with it.

Some stretchy cute pants I bought at Target a few years ago. I used to wear them to my bellydance classes. They came in handy as maternity pants I could were to work when paired with a cute professional shirt.

Otherwise my PJ bottoms for the weekends. I lived in those

I lived on peppermint candies and Zofran to ease my morning sickness.
