I read that article, not sure if there is a video of the situation, but I wouldn't watch it if there was. Not interested in seeing a little boy getting pepper sprayed by adults.
I am totally disgusted that an 8 year old was pepper sprayed. He didn't have a gun, he didn't have a knife, he had a piece of wood. I really find it hard to believe that a couple of grown police officers couldn't out smart this little boy, tag team him and remove his 'weapon'. They were afraid of getting hit with a piece of wood by an 8 year old? Then get the hell off the police force. Boy, they were in a serious life threatening situation with this one, weren't they? This really just disgusts me.

Agreed. What kind of lame police cannot control an 8 year old boy? They need more training. That behavior with a child is inexcusable in my eyes.

Oh, I totally wasn't excusing the boys behavior. Behavior disorder or not, his actions were wrong, what he said was wrong and he should have appropriate consequences for what he did, and unfortunately, if he isn't able to be taught how to control himself he will be in serious trouble once he gets older. Sad BUT, without a deadly weapon I just don't see how the police were justified using pepper spray on him. And the more I think about this stupid situation, the more peeved I get about it.
