OK, even weirder - she won two other auctions the same day and paid for those already (and received positive feedback for prompt payment). What the heck??

Mel, how do the MJ sizes run? Mikayla is mostly in a 3t, but the circo shirts from Target, I got her a 4t and they fit perfect. Would I get a 4 for her?

MJ covers 2 sizes, she doesn't do odd sizes. A 2 is made to fit a a size range of 2T to a 4T, a 4 is a 4T to a 6, etc. Being a 3 is a tuff spot. Because most people get 2 years of wear out of their MJ. The newer knots are made with a tie around the 'apron' so that they can be snugged up a bit and the ruffles and straighties are meant to be worn as either a full length pant or capris as they start to get too short. I really can't give you an answer on which to get, but I have heard that there is a HUGE difference in sizes between the 2 and 4. I'd just browse both sizes and then ask the seller for measurements.
Although Candace's situation boggles me, cuz from the looks of her size 2, it doesn't appear to be any larger than the Hotline 18m I have that is NWT. I think her and I should measure our dresses for a comparison and then maybe you'd have a better idea of what size to get M.

Holy Moly - I agree that $150 for a toddler dress is insane!! What do they cost new? Or are they the crazy things that are worth much more a few years later? I don't think I've ever bought myself anything for that much!!

We went to Farm class this morning - Mr. Beligerent did better today than last week. Actually fed the chickens. And had to tell the whole class how big the pig's bum was. "That's the biggest bum I've ever seen." (Which, frankly, I'm just glad he didn't say anything about the size of MY butt, lol)

Then I had to drop something off for one of his preschool friends that lives nearby and they invited us to play for a little while. Their yard is BEAUTIFUL!!! I have serious yard envy, lol.

We should be outside playing or something, but he's grumpy and I just don't want to deal with the grumps so he's finishing his lunch in front of the TV. Maybe go to the park or something this afternoon. I wish I had a kid who could just play by himself while I sit on a bench, lol.

No offense to anyone but seriously 149 bucks for a toddler dress? I mean if your loaded sure but REALLY REALLY.. IMO that is just money that could be spent on something that actually would benefit them. Not clothing..

I agree too Kelly...no way I'd ever pay that much for a toddler's dress. I'd have a really had time paying that much for a dress for me...it'd have to be something really special!

Thanks for the info on sizes Mel. Sounds like I will just have to ask the seller for measurements.

love the pics Colleen!!!!!!

Tracy, sorry for the crappy morning... yep, always in the morning and when you're in a hurry. God love you for working full time, with two young children AND listing your house!! Just thinking about that made my blood pressure go up. lol

Mel, sorry about Abs' gums. Sad

catching up just seems impossible today.

Candace, did you get the CL lot??

PJ, how's Landon's finger? A few months ago, I accidentally clipped part of my finger in the seat belt on our jogger (hurt like CRAZY!) and got a big ol' blood blister. I know Nurse Peg says not to drain it, but I cleaned it really well first and sterilized the needle. lol It did actually feel better afterwards. Surprisingly, not much blood came out - I guess it just looks bad but it's probably not a ton of blood...

Of course, the first time in over a week that EVERYONE is asleep and I'm sure I'm going to have to wake them all up to go to the pedi. It ALWAYS happens that way. Always. At least Noelle's behavior has been better for the past few days.

Oh, that reminds me that I had a short conversation with her main Sunday School teacher yesterday. He's awesome - I think anyone who is willing to work with 2 and 3 year olds on a regular basis deserves sainthood. lol So apparently Noelle went through a phase of dumping over her water every time she got a cup in Sunday School. He solved that one by himself by announcing that they should be careful not to knock over their water on purpose and he said that as long as he says that EVERY TIME they get water at snack time, she's cool. If he forgets to say it, she dumps it out. That's my kid, always looking for the loophole. lol So I asked him how her behavior has been and he said she was doing pretty well, he likes her a lot, etc. And then he said that she has this innocent way about her, but you have to watch out. ROFL Yep. I'm convinced all of my new gray hairs are thanks to her. lol

Ahhhhhhh, all 3 are down for a nap. Couldn't have asked for a smoother morning. Abigail went down for a nap at 8:30 (in her crib), just like she would have if it was a school a day. Jax was happy to watch ToyStory while I tidied up the house. M arrived about 10 minutes after Jax's teacher got here, and I was able to send Jax and M out on the deck to play so we could talk about Jax without him in the room, and I could say what I wanted about her new assistant without Jax hearing me. LOL
Of course I was polite and didn't bombard her with that right off the bat. Plus, I had the perfect opportunity because she hinted something about 'training and getting her with the program' and it not going too smoothly. She said she was already thinking of talking the principal and that she wasn't going to work out. She also said that next year they are adding another PS classroom and she was FOR SURE keeping Jax with her and she was already thinking of sending her assistant onto the new room. LOL So worst case senario, she will still be at the school next year, but not with Jax.

Ok, going to unwind and have a nice cup of Joe in silence. Who wants to hang out with me?

Karrie- I like the third dress.

Aww, Allie, he is a cutie!!! 2 mths...wow!

Crazy day here. Picture day mix up with my sis. Cadence's pre-scheduled 3 yr visit took TWO HOURS (in the waiting room for an hour). Absolutely ridiculous. Weight/height/blood pressure/eye exam/cbc & CHOLESTEROL TEST...seriously?!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad my sister was here with Wade and Ella, although Wade wouldn't drink a bottle and I'm scared that he has a respiratory infection again (more on that later).

Cadence's 3 yr stats: 36 lbs | 38.5 " ... CBC fine and cholesterol very normal ... she did okay on the eye exam -- I don't think she has an eyesight problem, more like just didn't know what to call a flag and a plus sign (two of the pictures they had on the chart)...they said no problem, most three year olds couldn't do the exam very well...?

I started this a while ago - brb

Hey Coll, It's partly sunny here today but cool at 65. too chilly for me to enjoy an iced coffee on the deck. Hve fun at the sofball games. I think I forgot to mention how stinking cute Miss Lucy sounds, waiting for her coach to tell her what to do. Is she looking forward to her next game, or still a little nervous about the whole thing?

Hey Karrie I do have to say I completely agree with Candace, pics of MJ do not do it justice. I have that one dress a few posts back, and yes, the pic of it is nice, but that dress is a show stopper IRL. I also think that pics of kids in the dresses with ruffles on look silly. Like I think all the pics of Abs in a dress with ruffles on do for sure look goofy, but IRL it is too stinking adorable. Ebay is hard to get good prices on MJ. I spent way too much on the dress I bought from there, but I felt like I was under the gun and I caved. LOL Her other knots were bought off GF for $25, $27, $30 and $35.

Here's something that might interest you
Size 4 EEUC $35

Peg, you crack me up. I bet those hats did get them extra attention. You do have to make some for your trip!!!

Yes, I do feel better about the whole assistant topic. I already knew, but she did reassure me that she is never or will never be alone in the room with the kids. Plus, she was alrady feeling like things weren't going to be working out with her, so at least that confirms not only how we feel about her, but also that his teacher is pretty intelligent. KWIM?

Kat, I'm sorry you are in a funk. I'd say to do some online shopping, cuz that always meakes me feel better, but that would just force you to have to work more, so don't do any shopping. LOL

Ok, I've been forced into this out of boredom. LOL

I was trying to capture the flirty look that she gives her dad, she tips her head down and looks at him over her lashes, but I got her half way through it.

Chewing on my turkey baster bulb.

Sunday morning, Abs got up at the butt crack of dawn, and I decided to let DH sleep. Abs watched Mickey Mouse from the saucer and I fell asleep on the couch. I had left Jax's monitor in the bedroom, so he woke up DH, and when they came into the keeping room they found me asleep on the couch. Of course Jax had to climb in with me.

He looks like he is in deep thought, really he is just desperately needing his nap but had to have lunch first.

Investigating a strawberry

She loves to sit in her borther's booster, but I have to keep her snacks out of reach and let her have one at a time or she sweeps them off the table onto the floor. LOL

Yep, we woke up to notes left by DH this morning. He always abbreviates Morning with Morn. LOL He leaves them on the coffee machine, because that is the first place I head to .

So, Coll, is 2 hours and 20 min a good nap or a bad nap or an ok nap???? Something tells me for Jack it's a REALLY good nap. We just planted strawberries and red onions this year. That's all we are going to do. I'm sure you will enjoy the gardening more this summer. LOL I couldn't imagine weeding and platning and picking in the 3T.

Those pics are awesome Mel. :love1: Abigail is beautiful! And you have no idea now desperately I am DYING to tousle Jax's hair everytime I see a pic of him. Your hubby is sweet, just as he should be with such an awesome wife and mom to his babies.

It's rainy and cold here today and I have a headache so we've been laying low and snacking most of the day away. zzzzz

And I LOVE that he thinks to put the 2 notes for the kids down low. So cute!!

Ok, so I forgot to tell you guys. I asked his teacher how his behavior was, did he do what he was supposed to, was he nice to others etc, and asked if there was anything that we needed to work on at home. She said "oh gosh no, Jaxon is the model student. Insane we are talking about the same kid. LOL

Um, yeah, Colleen, a 45-1 hour nap doesn't cut it.

Hi Jord. We've had 2 weeks straight of that kind of weather. I hate it.

Okay, so evidently my dad let C watch a show called WonderPets and it just came on after Dora...she LOVVVVVVVVVVES it and it singing along. I think it is weird!

Karrie, I'm gonna go look at the links you posted. And FTR, I got Ella's dress (with a stack of other clothes I'm gonna try to resale) for $30...I'll try to measure it tomorrow sometime, but I have a feeling that this dress was dried many times....:dontknow:

I read everything else, but I am drawing a blank.

I got the Culturelle at Target for $18 a box, otc...

Kat, you are a fantastic mom :bighug:

this is what many of the other pictures looked like:
