K, so I took her Highness swimming. When she has ibuprofen in her she's entirely fever free and seems just fine. She was begging yo go. We walked up, swam, walked back. She seems ok. Well know for sure in an hour and a half when she's due for more ibuprofen.

It was 95 here today.

Hope you all had a good day.

Deb, I hope you guys enjoyed the zoo!!

Colleen hope you got to sit down!!

Yay for D napping in her Carseat!!

Btw, what do you girls use to keep hair from turning green in the pool water? I have a bottle of ultra swim and its ok.

Kerri - Hope her fever stays away. And we had a great time at the zoo. We've bought memberships for the past two years, and they seriously are the best investment for us since we go all the time. In the summer, I'll go at least once a week. Grace was a spaz today there and hilarious. They have water spouts when you walk in and the kids can run around in swim suits. Grace looked liked she was about to fall asleep but as soon as she saw the water she got a second wind for a bathing suit + water. Tonight when I was putting her to bed she recreated our trip animal by animal. She even remembered the giant tortoises were eating lettuce.

Yup. 101. Gave her more ibuprofen. I very much hope that since I haven't seen any vomit since 7 am I wont see anymore. Going to bed, could be a long night.

Hello!!! I'm dropped Noah off on wed and am going to pick him up today and then me and Noah and staying the night at my parents house... wish me luck... I am so darn nervous that it's giving me the runs. I want a relationship with me parents sooooooo bad that I tell myself I can do this... it's so scary for me though.
Tomorrow morning when we leave me and Noah are going to spend the day at the zoo or something and then at night go to rochester for another sleep study, and finally come back home Tuesday morning. Gotta spend the next couple hours before I leave cleaning and doing laundry. I'm sure Noah will have it wrecked within an hour of being home Smile
i could use any positive and brave vibes you have for the visit with my parents!!!

Good luck, Maham!

Karrie - Has Belle always gotten sick a lot? Seems like she's been sick A TON the past few months (though maybe I'm mixing up both kids). Wierd that it's summer and that's when you're not supposed to get sick!!

Does she have other symptoms? Could she have an underlying problem or something - like a UTI or something?

Anyway, I hope she feels better soon!

Miles is totally out cute-ing himself this morning. (I already posted on FB so sorry for the repeats).

Daddy: Miles, do you want to get a hair cut?
M: No, it's not long.
D: Well, it's a little long.
M: Well, Rapunzel's hair is MUCH longer

M: Mom, why is there a whole in your shirt?
Me: It's REALLY old.
M: Oh, was it your grandpa's?

M: Oops, I fell off my chair. Good thing my bum was there to catch me.

Now we're watching the French Open final and he's giving me running commentary about "Roger" and "the other Roger" (meaning Roger Federer and Rafeal Nadal).

Ben has been sick with ei probably 3 times since Feb, Belle has been sick maybe twice, counting now. I think its prob a combo of the two. They were pretty healthy when everyone else was sick. Guess its just their turn.

I was thinking uti, but she's peeing fine, doesn't complainof pain, doesn't smell. With the ibuprofen Ubin her she's just fine. My guess "its just a virus". Dh still wants me to take them tomorrow. I've packed some and cleaned out my van. Guess well see. I don't really want to take her out of town and have her get worse.

Maham, GL with the visit with your parents. Will be thinking about ya.

LOL, at Miles. they say some funny things.

Hi everyone else.

Well for two day the rain has gone by us. We have a chance today and tomorrow. So hoping we get something from this. Will see.....But I am really enjoying the warmth. Todays high is 81 and it is supposed to be mid to upper 80s the rest of the week. Loving not freezing to death. But DH keeps the windows open at night and I have to have extra blankets.

It's 95 and there is a MAJOR T-storm moving through. 60mph winds. I kid you not, I just ran outside to gather up pool stuff that was blowing all over and it blew the metal pan out of our fire pit. In 4 years and all the storms, that thing has never blown out.

Ugh, I had a big ol' multi-quoted beauty of a post almost finished and Brian kicked my hand as I was typing and made me hit something that ERASED IT ALL. Sad No time to re-do it.

Maham, I really hope it goes well with your parents!!!

Emily, those are some really cute things Miles came up with! Biggrin I love the bum catching him comment. lol

Kerri, sorry about the sickness. Sad Can you possibly just postpone your vacation by a few days?

Colleen, yay for a new toilet!!

Stay safe, Mel!! Check in when you can so we can stop worrying, ok?

Peg, I use Picasa and love it. The editing is simple and there's a lot you can do. And I like the collages, although I wish they would let you choose which pic goes where in the collage - right now, you can just have it keep shuffling them until you are happy with the order, but it can take a while for that to happen. I also don't like the way they organize your pics, but that's mostly my fault for not categorizing them well to begin with. lol Otherwise, it's GREAT for basic editing... not bad for a free program! lol

It's been a whirlwind here... pretty much sums things up right now. lol

Hope everyone is staying cool! it's miserably hot out here - what happened to spring???

Oh, i just remembered... anyone familiar with the Pacific NW? If you could go there/have been there, where would you recommend going for newbies to the area? We're thinking about renting a house in that part of the country for a week next year.

I use Picasa and love it. I don't do much though and it was free. I know my sister upgraded to the Picnic (it is a sm monthly fee) and she loves all the features that are on that compared to Picasa.

Kerri - :bigarmhug:

Mel - stay safe. Love the new clothes.

Kat - ohhh...thanks for the pics. Adorable. And the sandals are perfect.

Colleen - I can totally understand. I was super excited to get a new pendant light fixture for the dining room.

Peg - Can't wait to see the pics. And sorry Alyssa has been a pill today.

We went to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch today. I still can't believe how much food Grace ate.

7 hours without power and I was already on an almost dead laptop battery when it went out. That's what I get for not making sure I had plugged it back in.
A power pole outside our development snapped in two from the wind. We went for a short drive, there were huge trees down all over. No tornados, just really strong winds. The Wendy's sign blew down too.

I will have to look into picasa. I use kodak easy share and I have photoshop, I just dont know how to use photoshop. Easy share does somewhat what I need to.

Deb, I have avoided my kids watching Barney for all these years. I feel for ya.

Good morning ladies! Sorry I was non-existent last week, things have been crazy busy at work and home Sad

We went to a wedding yesterday and mamma had a few two many merlots  Boy it is going to be a loooonnnggg day today. The wedding was just beautiful and the girls had soo much fun!

We are leaving on vacation on Friday and I have about 20 loads of laundry to put away. Sad I have a little dirty secret in our walk in closet... we use our old pack-n-play as a clean laundry basket... LOL! I wash clothes and just keep dumping the clean ones in there until I get around to folding them and putting them away Smile I am banning my kids from going anywhere this week where there are germs, lol, last year was the worst vacation of my life when Kayla and DH got very, very, very sick. I wanted to strangle myself. I even called my mom at 3 am crying, asking her if she thought someone would drive us back home.

Oh Ruth - Wanted to mention how much we LOVE the fresh 20! My husband has been raving about the food. The kids are so-so on it, but I MAKE them try it. Kayla loved that Mediterranean orzo salad. I was shocked, but she ate two huge bowls and her sisters.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Another Picasa lover here.

Hi Deb, good to see you. I haven't seen a countdown from you lately. Is this the last week of school?

Hi Shannon. Glad you had fun at the wedding. Sorry about the merlot. I hate alcohol headaches and red wine is the worst of the bunch. LMAO about your dirty little secret, but technically it's a clean little secret.

Yes Coll, we had those downburst winds. We've been getting them all spring. It's just been a crazy season this year.

Sad Kat that is aweful. Poor Josh. Hope he isn't real bad.

I've got to do our Father's Day pics. I went to Hobbly Lobby Sat and picked up a photoframe with 3 5x7 openings for $15. I think everyone in Bowling Green has the same idea, there were no flat letter D's in the store. Not in the wood crafting area, not the prepainted ones in the house decorating area. Lots of all the other letters, just no D's. So, I had to get the 3D block letters, they were 10 bones a piece. But, after I take the pics, I'm returning them. The only thing is that now I really can't do the black and white pic with a colored letter. The letters I got are that oil rubbed bronze look, so they are black with just a tiny bit of bronze on the edges. Sad I think I'll just take the pics outside infront of one of the flower beds. My yellow day lillies are blooming right now. Just have to decide on outfits.

Hey, it's been so long since I've had an actual photo printed, I don't know where to do it. Any tips on where to take them?

Ruth - are you looking for something relaxing or something with more culture? I lived in Seattle for 5 years, too. Need more info!

I won't let Miles watch Barney. Mean mom, lol.

Mel - I had trouble finding Ds last year and didn't realize until after I bought and painted them that I only needed one anyway, lol. Glad your power is back.

Kat - Hope Josh feels better!

Karrie - how's Belle this morning?

I think we're going to the library today. Then Target. I think the new Starbucks is finally open, lol.

It's supposed to be 75 today and then climb to 95 by Thursday. So glad the pool is finally ready for swimming.

LOL Em, I remembered that from last year, so I was only looking for one.

This weather is just ridiculously crazy. May was our coldest ever and June is now the hottest ever. The Friday we left, it was a high of only 65 and the very next day Rick said it was 97 and has been that hot ever since. Saturday, I ran into town. It was 96 at our house in the country and it was 101 in town. INSANE.

Glad you're all ok. That sounds exactly like the storm that went through here last weekend. We were only out of power for about 7 hours but some people just got their's back on on Saturday...so 6 days with no power. There's about 4 miles of power lines that cut straight through the fields that all the poles snapped right in half. And they said it wasn't tornados, just straight line winds in excess of 100 mph.

What a busy weekend. Saturday we went to a pet adoption thing at a pet store and were able to bring a puppy home. The boys were both drawn to him as soon as they saw him. He's a little cutie. I'll post a pic as soon as I can. I realized this mroning that I only took pics on my camera (not my phone) so I need to upload the pics at home. Logan had 2 friends stay the night saturday night, then DH worked yesterday morning and got home just in time for Logan's bday party. And then the puppy wasn't happy in the crate last night. I'm exhausted. But Logan had a great bday...last night he told me "this is the best day ever". lol

OH.. has anyone here been through the tattoo "process" ? DH had his before we met, and I have never gotten one, but do they draw up something first? Do they charge you for the drawing. I am worried he might not like my idea/think it is too lady like and I don't want to spend a fortune getting things drawn up.

Morning

Shannon- where are you going on vacation?> better get some ABX for that pink eye!

Karrie! PICTURES ALREADY!

Maham- I hope it goes well.. thinking of you and sweet Noah

Mel- you can change the color of the letter on a photo editing website .. and then upload the pics to Walgreens and pic them up in 1 hour!
I also had a hard time finding letters and the red ones were all out.. I bought white and my mom painted them red for me.. doing the shoot tomorrow if the weather lets up Smile

Ruth- We drove though Washington and it was SO BEAUTIFUL!!! near the coast area. Just amazing!
There was this one spot we were driving from Forks (YAY Twilight) to Vancouver BC and rounded a corner and happened to come across this lake and I swear to god it was the most beautiful spot EVER.. Lake Cresent http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Crescent the sun was coming through the trees and looked like a post card. Ever since we have been talking about renting cabin on the lake. It was so peaceful and looked amazing.

But Logan had a great bday...last night he told me "this is the best day ever". lol

that is sooooooo awesome karrie!!!!!!! makes all the busy prep work worth every second!!!!!! and i can't wait to see pics of the pup!!!!

OH.. has anyone here been through the tattoo "process" ? DH had his before we met, and I have never gotten one, but do they draw up something first? Do they charge you for the drawing. I am worried he might not like my idea/think it is too lady like and I don't want to spend a fortune getting things drawn up.

around here, they will work with your drawing for free......

I won't let my kids watch it either...lol....and they slipped and told me that 'aunt didi' lets them watch it when they were going there...lol...gotta yell at my sis....she kows the deal...lol

I hope the night at your parents went ok! :bigarmhug: And the sleep study too!

And they said it wasn't tornados, just straight line winds in excess of 100 mph.

lol I used to use the pack n play for a clothes basket too! It was very convenient.

Hi ladies

another fantastic sunny hot day here. Aidan is in daycare and I think I'll spend the majority of the day outside, even if my house is a sty and needs a good cleaning, because you can't even tell I gave it a great cleaning on Thursday, infact, you couldn't tell I cleaned it by Friday morning

Shannon- put those kids in a bubble, no sickies before vacay. oh and that video was horrifying, I couldn't imagin :O

Mel- I'm glad everything was ok after those winds, super scary. we had some bad winds last week, but nothing like that wow.

Karrie- I can't wait to see pics of the pup, I'm glad you found the perfect one Biggrin and I'm glad that Joey had the best day ever LOL, he's so cute.

Deb, sorry, i hate Barney lol, i'm super lucky Aidan's never been into him, he even asks me to change the channel when he's on. Working in daycare at the peak of his fame was enough to put me over the edge lol.

ok quick nunnies and then it's outdoor time.

Oh I'll leave you with this Smile since I missed photo Friday

I'll get one of Aidan when he comes home, he's not into posing lately for the camera lol
