Everly looks adorable - I love the colors! I do like Carter's clothes though.

Peg - poor Alyssa Sad Blood of any kind would totally freak me out, but I've heard that black blood is the thing to worry about

please post it.......it's a long summer......and i love cheap!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!

sarah had this exact thing when she was about 10yrs old.......small amount of blood every couple of weeks......i had to check to make sure it was coming from her butt, too, and not her getting her period at some crazy azz early age......but it was def. from bum....i actually brought her to the docs......(i know, don't fall off of your computer chairs, i brought my kid to the docs.....LOL) and they said it was nothing......not enough bleeding for concern, probably a fistula inside, that was getting irritated every couple of weeks from lack of daily pooping..............hope that eases your mind a bit......

oh and max likes the mulletish look.....LOL...great!!!!!!! i tried to cut the back shorter.......he ipsnayed it........i didn't want to fight.....cuz i don't know how to cut hair anyways... and judging by the "it looks ok"........i'm thinking you all mean it looks like crap......LOL........i should have just buzzed it...LOL........oh well......i tried!!!!!!

Peg- it could be a fissure, Bill actually gets them alot, I find alcohol makes it worse for him, so don't get her drunk  but seriously, if it's only a little and it's bright red, it could be from straining, TMI, but about a month ago I had one of those hard poops, it must have caused a fissure, because for the next couple weeks every once in a while it would bleed a bit, just enough for the TP.

Just cleaned the kitchen, that was the worst, now William is having nunnies, he woke up in a mood lol, poor thing, he does not wake up well, but once he's up, he's a happy lil' guy. now to figure out what I want for lunch, I've started my WW again, so we'll see how that goes lol

Colleen, according to a majority of the guys in SoCal, the mullet look is in! I see more mullets here than in the trailer parks back home in MO Biggrin

Mel, ((((hugs))))

Peg, I hope the blood turns out to be nothing. Good luck on finding a jogger. I love mine and couldn't imagine life without it.

Allie, good luck with WW

Kelly, keep posting the crafts! They are GREAT!

Candace, LOVE that picture of Ella and Cadence! They are sooo cute!

I swear I read back more....just can't remember crap this morning. JD woke up and 3:30 and then Gweny decided to wake up at 4.......I need more sleep.....

Aw Mel :bigarmhug: Can private sessions be ramped up super quick or was that the issue, by the time they start, school is back? I CANNOT believe summer break is only 7 WEEKS there, did I read that right? It's almost 14 WEEKS here!!!!! :bigarmhug:

Peg I was going to say anal fissure too. (I'm sure you all love hearing my health issues, but I get those frequently too.) As long as it's bright red, it's fine, although I'd definitely mention to the pedi and maybe even scoop a nice sample the next time it happens. The poop doesn't have to be really hard or anything to create a fissure, just enough plus the pressure applied to get it out and cause one. :bigarmhug: to you too, I know it's worrisome!

Kelly, YES POST the craft! And OMG Everly! Crap that girl is gorgeous!

Jennifer, I dunno, a friend had 2 boys and tried for a girl....3rd boy. Loves him to pieces, isn't sorry in the least he's a boy and is happier with 3 children than 2...BUT, you and I are the same age. Hows about if you try, you try, but you can think of me going thru menopause with a teenage daughter that will 100% guaranteed be a super b!tch like I was at that age!

Emily oh nooooooooooooooooo on the early wake ups! MAN!!! Does JD at least take decent naps? Well, it would be nice if he didn't want to wake so early, and his sister slept a little later!!!

Good luck with WW Allie, you already look gorgeous though!

Colleen, if Max likes his hair, it's a WINNER! I think it looks just fine, I mean what kid nowadays has a perfectly done haircut, isn't what's popular that I just rolled out of bed and no I don't own a comb look??

Insurance says no its the hospital, THEY want more money. Seriously, I'm gonna shoot someone, and I'll let this crap go to collections and go on my credit report, I'M NOT PAYING IT!!!!

how much bathwater do you let them drink??????? if it were up to me i wouldn't let them drink any but i am sick and tired of saying "don't drink that' 'we don't drink the water' ' 'you're gonna get pullled outta the tub and go to a time out if you drink it again" and yep....i sure do pull their azzes out and they still keep drinking the water....drives me nuts....then i made it a rule that they can drink the water directly outta the spicket which they do ....but then as soon as i turn the spicket off they drink it outta the tub

what is the obsession with drinking bath water...i just don't get it?????????

Jules, the SLP from school is trying to hook us up with someone private a few days a week. The problem is that going to either of the out patient hospitals that offer ST services, they won't accept an outside eval and the eval process takes about 3 weeks and has to be completed before therapy sessions would begin. We have like a 12 week summer break, but not including this week we go back in 7 weeks. I don't feel like we have 3 weeks to waste with an eval, then what benefit would really be acheived with just 4 weeks of therapy with a new SLP? KWIM?

I don't get the obsession either. I'm sure our solution isn't the going to be the most popular, but it solved the issue. Of course, I'm that militant type of parent that really struggles with him not getting the whole "I said to stop, so dang it that's all that should matter, so STOP!!!" But, I've really had to learn that until they are older like 4-5ish, I need to be a little creative with how I get nasty behavior to not happen, instead of just demanding that "drink the bath water and bathtime is done". KWIM? So anyway, I gave him a plastic cup without a lid and let him get his own water to drink from the tap. He gets to drink water while in the bath, or just fill up his mouth and spit it out, but I win because he's not drinking the bath water. Totally worked.

Mel that's a load of crap...won't accept outside evals! I understand the idea behind it, but COME ON, it's not like this eval is 2 years old for crap's sake. ITA with the private route, doesn't his SLP do stuff on the side???? I understand by the book and all, but I hope someone can bend the rules a bit, look at what's going on and not just what the rules mean, HELPING THE CHILD is the goal. I do know the SLP we worked with her also does private on the side stuff too, can be billed thru insurance as well. Did the SLP there have any suggestions other than thru that service that wants their own freakin eval?

Peg, dang kids and their bath water!!!!!!! I think Colby stopped because I screamed real good a few times in a small bathroom where the sound was magnified 1000x and scared the $hit out of him. I'm not saying I highly recommend that, but he hasn't tried to drink bathwater in ages, lol! I guess part of me thinks, well, if they are doing it before they are washed, but it's a$$ water still....I think Colleen might have something with putting them in there after they eat!

Hey have any of you guys used that little tub seat for the babies at all, like so you can bathe the other kid(s) at the same time? Just wondering if it's worth it at all....D sits fine on her own, but still will topple to either side or backwards, and Colby is a spaz so tubbing together right now isn't gonna happen...unless that seat is worth it. Just wondering because soon she'll get to the point of sitting up just fine and not toppling at all, and wondering if at that point she'll just hate the seat and we will have used it maybe for a month and then it's done.....

copied from the post from the thread that is now closed.. thankfully pg.org saved my post!

hey everyone! naking...

well, that was fast. he's done. Sad

ok, back with another baby........

and now, back with baby #1. lol brian just wanted to wrestle instead.

this could go on all day.

up most of the night with brian, who got a cold that came on lightening fast. micah vomited 6 times yesterday. Sad called his pedi with 2 more 'symptoms' that we've noticed. we've noticed a pattern of him burping after feeding and then immediately coughing and then vomiting. now i'mback to naking with snotty baby #2. lol he also always coughs which then leads to the vomiting. so his pedi thinks reflux and sending in a script for zantac. if that doesn't help within 2-3 days, he's going to send him to a GI specialist. i really hope that's all it is.

ok, i started this post probably 4 hours ago but have no time to read back. Sad i hope everyone is doing well. just wanted to check in with you all....

I think Joe is going to come home with a 40 inch TV. Called me when he was out, oh here's one for $400 that's pretty good...no we don't NEED another TV, the ones we have are fine....but not sending Colby to summer program we have the money now...NO we don't HAVE the money, we aren't sending him because we can use that money elsewhere, NOT for an unnecessary item....okay, I can't decide....what's to decide, we don't NEED it...okay, I'll be home soon. That was 45 minutes ago. He's 20 minutes from here. Men.

Random question of the day:

What do you use for skin care .. I have been breaking out bad in the last few weeks.. hormones and such (I think) I also think it's stress.

I did some research on products and decided to go with
Persa Gel 10 it's Benzol Peroxide 10% (the highest you can get OTC)
Cerave moisturizer afterwards.

I hope it helps...
any other products you use that work or suggest?

lyssa even has been giving ty a good night kiss the past couple of nights......and i figured out why ..... these are her words 'he has baby bit'....she means 'baby spit' LOL...so i have to wipe his mouth and then she'll give him a kiss ROFL

Kelly - 1) love the pic! 2) keep posting crafts. I found a site this morning with 4th of July crafts. Now that I'm typing about it, I don't remember what site it is though. 3) I use Arbonne RE9 for skincare. This is the anti-aging line, but they do have a line for breakouts.

Mel - :bigarmhug: I was going to suggest asking about private sessions. I'd be shocked if a lot of those peopel didn't do some on the side as well. And love ya!

Candace - Just wanted to say your girls are adorable.

Crap..I must remember to multi-quote from now on.

:wavehello: Emily, Jennifer, Peg, Jules, Ruth, Colleen. Crap..who else?

Oh, and the dentist was just my 6 month cleaning. I schedule cleaning around days off hence summer. Might as well get it out of the way. DH always goes on MLK day becuase we have it off.

Hi ya'll!!!

I am dying for that Iphone app for pg.org.. I don't use my "regular" puter at home and at work is really the only place I can reasonably type something long in.

We had a GREAT week at vacation, I am as tanned as a Tropicana girl (minus the hot bod) lol.. which means I get white tan lines in my forehead wrinkle (LOL). Allie got sick the LAST day around lunch time. 104 fever that came on sooo suddenly. One minute she was in the pool having a blast, the next she was shivering and shaking like a leaf. Every single time her temp went up after the motrin wore off she vomited. She is fun like that  I took her to urgent care that evening because she complained that her throat hurt. The did a rapid and it came back negative and we are still waiting on the culture. They started her on antibiotics anyway (much to my shagrin). We left Friday night instead of early Saturday morning. I just juiced up the hubs with caffeine and off we went.

I read back a few pages.. lets.. see..

Colleen - LOVE his hair! Can I have some of that curl Smile

Ruth - Hope you get the vomiting/feeding issues figured out :bigarmhug:

Peg - I agree with everyone else.. When I started having my tailbone problems they actually did a colonoscopy on me (fun stuff that is) just to be sure I didn't have any issues in the part of my colon near the tailbone. Turns out I had a fissure and had no idea (other then the fact that I would get blood on the TP about once every other week) I just thought it was a hemi or something and never got it checked out. It only happened after I had a hard bm though.

Julie - Did he get the TV? We just got an Ipad 2 on Saturday and I have to admit I am addicted Smile I love technology though.. being the geek that I am Smile

Mel - Poor Jax.. I can't imagine how frustrating it is for you and him Sad Hope you get some answers and some help soon. Not that I am comparing Allie to Jax in anyway, but I think that the stuttering thing for a lot of kids that age can be normal right? Allie does it all the time now and it just started a few weeks ago. I remember Kayla going though the same phase and I asked our Pedi about it. It seemed to happen so suddenly and was REALLY noticeable. Do you think that maybe it is just coinciding with the speech stuff he already had and it is just ten times worse for kids with speech delays? Sorry if that came out wrong.. just trying to brainstorm some.

Kelly - I have battled Acne ever since I grew a pair (boobs that is, get your minds out of the gutter Smile ) Check out acne.org (their products are awesome and sooooo much cheaper then proactiv, neutrogena, etc) They have a great forum that has a huge user base with some great questions being asked. I stopped using BP recently and I am paying for it! Sad There is a good discussion/article thingy on their about why 10% is too much and that most studies found the 5% worked just as well if not better then the 10%. I just bought the olay face brush scrubber thingy.. I LOVE IT! I wanted a clarisonic, but I am not shelling out $200 for one. My problems (I have discovered over the years) are from a lack of sufficient exfoliation. This helps with that, but I still need to go back on my BP... Good luck!!

Yes, stuttering is/can be very normal for this age group. But, with talking with his SLP and answering her questions, she doesn't think this is typical age related stuttering.

Glad you had a great time on vay-cay. I kept thinking about you last week, hoping you were having a great time. Sorry Allie got sick at the end. Boo.

Oh.. forgot to add.. I came back to my office today with my cubicle decorated with pictures of those toe shoes (vibram I think). I HATE those things and a bunch of the guys in my office wear them on dress down days. Under the pictures of those were two hidden gems, one was a picture of a pole dancer drew by a kid that says "When I grow up, I want to be like mommy", and one with a little girl (that resembles Kayla) flipping the bird and the bottom caption says "I like daddy better. Love Kayla". BTW.. I work with my husband, so it is always a running joke as to who my kids like better!

Geez... what do these guys think of me!?? Do they think I was a pole dancer in my former years? LOL.

My dh is the opposite. I researched tvs for two weeks before we bought one. Me though, I'm a sucker for a good deal...just on small price things though.

Ruth, hope the Zantac helps him!!!

Karina, are you in here? Saw in the PWR thread that you recently had surgery. Hope you had some help with the kiddos and have made a speedy recovery...as I recall with Emily you couldn't get up and walk around the next day (or week?!)! :bigarmhug:

Thanks for that new obsession Wink lol

DH is getting his fathers day tattoo tomorrow and he has NO idea what he wants (other then he wants the girls names) I am not very happy with his level of effort in looking. That is a big deal, getting inked.. He doesn't seem to care. Any ideas????

Do any of you use any all natural baby products you love? I am switching to everything possible au naturale and I don't want to pay a fortune! I have been combing the EWG's skin deep database for anything that would work in my price range. California baby is the only one I know of and that did not get as great of a rating as one would expect. Plus, they are the most expensive ones!!

So, the long drawn out glider debacle continues.

Got an email from amazon, they cancelled my order because that glider is unavailable. I figured as much, I knew it was a discontinued model.
Craigslist moron relisted it AGAIN. Finally got the idiot to reply to an email. Apparently his means of accessing the internet/emial is via DROID.
The guy is a complete and total PIMA, but I want this stupid glider. Haven't been able to find one less than 400 bones that is BOTH oversized and reclining.
DH is looking at taking a day off to go to Nville with me because this whole thing just SCREAMS shady.

So, my other dilema. I NEED a sit n stand or similar. I really don't want a double stroller considering Jax age, but I do need some sort of way to be able to secure him and go places like the mall and to the zoo etc. and be able to offer him a ride when he gets tired of walking. So, here I go buying a glider and a stroller and putting a HUGE dent in the money I have saved for my Rebel.

I am very leary of buying things from Craigslist. I am afraid it would be shady too. I hope it is not and you get your glider.

How did you know I am procrastinating making dinner? ROFL Thanks for asking, the surgery was fine, it has now been 3.5 weeks and I am completely better. Might notice it if I have to stand around too long, but otherwise good as new. (Had to spend the first weekend in bed, which was glorious, I have to say - DH brought me meals on a tray, I read four novels and slept a lot...it really was more of a treat than an ordeal.)

Sorry to be so selfish and pop in and out like this...I must invent something for tonight's grub since I just spent an hour painting the trim around the garage - you can tell you feel better when you start doing job jar stuff. Hello to all - k, bye!

Well, just solved half of my dilema. I used the $85.00 in amazon GC that I have accumulated through SB. They had a sale on the Joovy Caboose at $149, then when I was looking at the color options, the purpleness was another $40.00 off so I just bought the Joovy for $129 minus $85 in free CG. Yahoo

And a Yahoo to Julie for no TV. Yahoo
