Mel hope Abs is okay, and that it's just got something to do with being somewhat of a 'fresh' walker. KUP and hope DH can come home!!

Peg you KUP too on what the pedi says. I'm SO sorry they are sick AGAIN. Jeebus H, I'm beginning to think ALL sicknesses the world has can be traced back to a daycare or school!!

Jennifer, everyone's already said, but if Jay is eating great I wouldn't worry about formula. But I do have to ask...why would you want to START a paci now?? Now you may have already completely explained this, and in my attempt to catch up my reading was more like scanning...so don't shoot me!

Kelly, I do love the new siggy!!
And if the issue is side by side tickers and a pic underneath, then I"ll be waiting for MY 'please change your siggy' PM!

Candace thinking of you and the biopsies today. :bigarmhug: Your blog is such a joy to read...I totally am not into blogs at all, but could really read anything you write over and over!!!

Karrie, I'm sorry you were sick over the weekend. Sad

Emily c3...guess what....Dh is on FACEBOOK now! ROFL Oh lord have mercy, the man has no clue how it works, doesn't even know how to post or respond to posts...and I sure as $hit ain't helping him! ROFL

Kat, how's the PT going?
ms Emily same too, things still going good in the PT department?

Colleen, vaca is coming up SOON girl!!!!!!!! Did I say I was jealous yet lol!

Ahhhhh sorry that's as far back as I went, hope everyone is doing great!!!!!

My dad left for my gma's today...I think they just needed a BREAK lol! They went to some wineries yesterday, I was pretty sure both he and his wife were going to pop as far as needing a moment of silence in their day! ROFL

Potty training is going strong. He just learned how to pee standing up so that makes peeing out and about easier. I am so glad we had to wait to potty train cause this had gone too smoothly. I am jusylt hoping we sont have any type of regression.

Julie...I think the paci thing came from Mel as an alternative to a bottle at bedtime. Just a few days ago jay stopped nursing cuz of a canker sore so I started with a dr browns bottle and it made bedtime a breeze... but Mel mentioned tooth rot and getting him to try the paci again.

Glad you're back up and running again!

kelly....love your new siggy....and yep...i've been hit by the siggy police before too Wink

Jen, I thought it was only if they slept with a bottle in their mouth all night that it would cause tooth rot, not a bottle right before bed/during falling asleep... Colleen might be able to help with this one. I feed JD a bottle every night as he is falling asleep.

Julie, ROFL dang it, now I am the only loser without fb! How could he leave me hanging like that Wink

Kat, glad the pt is going strong!

Kelly, you should check out damnyouautocorrect.com Love that site. Although I think some of them are made up.

Hi Colleen and Deb!

My sister told me that she was typing "Gwenys" on her iphone the other day and it autocorrected it to "hernias" ROFL

Tooth rot comes from stuff sitting in their mouths.... So if they fall asleep witg milk in their mouths and dont brush or wipe it can lead to tooth rot..

Both my kids take asippy to bed, but its water...

A I was also caught by the siggy police.

Well Ruth, if Jax was your boys' age, he would have had that almost doubled by 3:00 in any given day. That boy crapped, without fail, 20 minutes after every single meal.

So, Abs has a, quote the Dr, "RAGING EI and from the looks of it has had it for some time". I did suspect this over the last week, just from her behavior and not letting me sleep at night. Amox for her as well. And that is what the wobbly, off balance, falling down walking is all about. Sad

Aww, poor Abs!!! At least it's nothing worse, though!!

Can I tell you guys I am just jumping up and down internally right now?!?!?! When everyone gets up from their naps, I'm taking Noelle to buy her first ever pair of ballet slippers! And pink tights!! And maybe (but hopefully not) tap shoes. A friend gave us a pair, but I'm afraid they might be too big. Need to check before we leave. I bought a black leotard online for her last night. She starts her first dance class in just a few weeks!!! BiggrinBiggrinBiggrinBiggrin She LIVES to dance right now. I just hope the structure of a class won't squelch her free dancing spirit. lol But some of my best and earliest memories are of my dance classes. I wish I could take again, too... someday...

Ruth, that sounds very exciting. My younger sister, 'tweedledum', was a dance intructor before she had babies. I actually can't wait for Jax to start music lessons. He already has a baby Martin (guitar), a violin and we will be getting my piano from my parents house in the next couple of months.

Oh and Abigail is still putting on about a pound a month. Woulda never thunk it, the girl is not chubby in the least, but man she is getting tall. She was 21 and some change at her one year check, she has 3 weeks to go before she is 15months, but is now 24 lbs.

Ooooo noooooooo on the EI's! I'm sorry! Sad Poor babies! I hope Tyler and Abs feel better soon. Sad

Peg, glad Alyssa didn't have an EI...hope the amox works quick so Tyler and YOU can get some sleep!!!

Mel, aw poor Abs! I'm glad you took her in to figure it out!!!! And whatever Colby had was from who knows what...I think my nausea was from cleaning up what looked to be a gallon of puke ALL OVER the bathroom!

Ruth, dance for Noelle sounds AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! You have to let us know how it goes, I don't think it'll squelch her at ALL!!!!

Emily LOL at HERNIAS LOLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh LOVE autocorrect!!! What's that funny webiste....damn you autocorrect.com???

Jennifer, gotcha on the paci. I'm going to dissent and say if a baby doesn't want a paci, I wouldn't push it lol! I think I was lucky in a sense that neither of mine wanted a thing to do with them...I don't know, I'll retract the dissent if it makes things easier, but I just always worry about things being hard in the weaning.

And I'm so sorry about your SIL. Sad That's so heartbreaking, I can't even imagine.

hi Deb!!!!

Colleen, THANK YOU for talking about the $1 workbooks at Target! I've looked at them before, but only briefly..and the ones I picked up were for older kids, so I never really paid attention again. But lo and behold, TONS for this age!!!!

Speaking of Target, YAY because I finally went there today after a really long time...I thought the construction by them was the 549th bank they were building around here...but it's going to be the target GROCERY! YAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Mel and Peg- sorry about the EIs. Hope they clear up quick.

Ruth- I hope she loves her dance class. I have Sofia in Gymnastics but I cant wait for dance.

No time to talk right now. I am surprising DH by sweeping and moping. He was supposed to do it tomorrow while I am in New York.

And I got caught by the siggy police too, so lets see if I fixed it right.

Don't know about Walmart, but a lot is cheaper than my regular grocery store. I do a lot of my shopping at Target now.

For instance - Market Pantry has "Family size" frozen meals (like stouffers lasagna sized but a lot more varieties) and today they were 2 for $9. At the grocery store they'd be $9 a piece. I got Tamales and Cashew Chicken!

Jules - I think you asked. PT is going great. He's lazy and sometimes asks for a diaper or pullup (and today and naptime he looked at me and said, "Mom, I love peeing in a diaper" lol).

Still having problems at camp though so I'm going to talk to the director and see what she wants me to do. IF we should try to get him "school trained" during camp or wait until school actually starts. Plus, the dumba$$e$ can't seem to get the pullups on right. He's NEVER leaked through a pullup with me yet he leaks through them daily at camp (and they're not full, they just don't put them on right).

IF he's going to pee himself, I personally would rather him in underpants than a pullup, you know.

Sorry, probably more of an answer than you wanted!

LOL Peg at the registry!! Well, I'm sure she'll enjoy her drab gray comforter! ROFL I'm glad last nite was better!!!

Emily that's fabulous Target has good grocery prices! The wal mart is right across the street, so I wondered if that has anything to do with their pricing, KWIM? At any rate, I look forward to trying it out! I'd talk to the school about the pullups....I mean that kid shouldn't be getting all wet if he's wearing one! I'm glad it's going well but LOL at "I like peeing in a diaper"! ROFL

Kat when do you leave for your trip??

Ruth if you read this, how's Micah been doing???

So now Colby's morning poop has moved up from 5:30am to 5am. UGHHHHH!!!!!!!!! At least he just goes and calls me when he's done...but this morning he was yelling about bugs in his bathroom window. It's pitch black still at 5am, didn't see any bugs.

This napping again thing has totally changed our schedules and I am not sure if I like it. He doesn't fall asleep until 9:30 and then up at 6 or earlier. Yuck! I got used to 7:30 sleep ins!!

Trying to do every other day naps but I don't think he'll make it all day without some major meltdowns.

Oh good grief, I just checked my email and there's something from my Mom about not getting updates/pictures/videos about the kids when my Dad was here. Uh, sorry, guess she forgets when she's here I don't run and call my Dad unless I have something specific to tell him, or that she doesn't answer her phone or call me back when she's busy with her friends. Childish.

:bigarmhug: Colleen on the not napping. I totally understand that feeling when they are NOT napping. Grace is a pill when she doesn't get her nap. Her whines grate on my nerves. But she does give me a pretty big sign when it is nap time...she crumbles down during a whine into the fetal position = must get her into a bed.

so last night DH and I switched the screen on the door to the glass plate (screen was shabby looking) but now I had to take down the grapevine wreath because it scratches the front door. It was a large one hiding a hidious paint chip on the front door. Now what? I can make a new wreath, but all the "soft" ones are small. And redoing the door scares the crap out of me...looks like a pretty big job.

yuck on the no naps..

I'll have three three and under again today.. I'm babysitting for a friend who usually watches him. She's 37 weeks pg and been throwing up. Yesterday went ok, so hopefully today does too. Ben thinks its great Blum 3

Yesterday was the closing on the other job in Wheeling... Teaching math at the hs.. I'm guessing if they're going to call me they'll do so today and hopefully schedule the interview for Thursday (and not tomorrow, cuz I'd have to drive... AGAIN) We'll see... they start school on Monday. I just wonder if having this babysitting drop into my lap is a sign that that's what I'm gonna be doing. I'm still not sold on moving, but we'll see. We found a house to rent there... in September, which means we'd be living with my ILS til then.. did I mention they have one bathroom, no shower, and a room ac in the dining room and dh's bedroom? sigh... we'll see I guess.

Goodmorning. No naps yesterday for my brrod and I'm still paying for it. Payed for it all yesterday evening, paid for it all last night and now I'm still paying for it.

I always spell gray like grey. All fabulous haircolor is European and that's how they spell it, so that's what I got used to. LOL

Peg, was cracking up over the mismatched poor taste registry.

Jules, too funny about the bugs on the window. LOL Oh and to echo Colleen, your mom's a pill. ROFL

Kerri, have fun with the extra little one. Smile

Ok, got a lot to do and we all slept until 7:45. Caroline is coming at 9:15

You girls are the best. You don't know how many times I am feeling blah or grumpy and I read back a bit and just crack up and feel so much better. Biggrin Thank you!

MEL (gotta start with you since now we all know you don't read anything past the first few sentences ), no naps at all yesterday??? Wow. Yeah, I'd be paying for it for a looong time, too. I hope they get back on track soon. And yeah, I guess I should be excited about Noelle starting music lessons.... but it's a little less exciting when you know YOU have to be the teacher. lol i know it sounds weird, but i am mostly looking forward to homeschooling, but DREADING teaching Noelle piano. I've said all along that I will find someone else to teach her, but i know when it comes down to it actually happening, music lessons are expensive and i'm more qualified to teach music than anything else I'm planning on teaching. lol BUT i have a friend who is also a pianist and homeschools her kids and she has someone else teaching them piano, so i know i'm not alone in this! maybe when the time comes, i can work out a swap. ANYWAY, lots more info than you wanted!!

Peg, ROFL you crack me up with your drab boring grey gray comforter. i've always just spelled it however i'm 'feeling' it at the moment - i think they're both correct. Biggrin

Julie, darn you! I was just coming here to whine about my rotten night with crappy sleepers and godawful early morning, but i cant ever touch 5am! I will just say that I didn't get my required 3 hours uninterrupted and i'm really feeling it this morning. boo. Oh, and there's a target a little south of me with a full grocery and their produce prices are very good - strawberries for $1.50, etc. but i'm sure part of their motivation for low prices is that there is a Trader Joe's right there and they give them LOTS of competition! and the Target closest to my house is adding a grocery this fall!!!! I'm excited!

I know there was more, but Noelle has been playing on the potty since I started typing and I bet she has a pretty wicked ring of fire by now... better go get her motivated to 'finish.'

Oh yeah, Micah is.... not sure. I can't remember what I last said about him. He finished the antibiotics/steroids and seemed to be better. He would only have a dry cough when he would do weird things with his voice (he likes to do that just like Noelle did when she was a baby, it's hilarious). And then 2 days later, Brian got a cold and gave it to M and N two days after that. I took him for the follow-up with the pulmonologist and HE said that he initially thought it was a digestive issue, but was now thinking it was a lung thing after all. He suggested getting us a nebulizer and seeing if that helped... but i opted to wait and see what the coughing was like after Micah got over the cold. Here's the weird thing - Brian and Noelle are both completely better now. But Micah isn't and he's still pretty congested, still coughing and nose running. It was like this last time they all got colds, too. Maybe the doctor is right and he does have some kind of asthma... I can see how that would make colds and other sinus issues worse. My DH is like that, too. I guess since he's always congested, a cold just puts him over the edge. Anyway, thankfully M isn't really throwing up anymore, and he's still gaining. At the appt, he was just shy of 21 pounds. So I guess I'll see how he's doing once he gets rid of the cold... sorry for the long ramble! Can you tell I'm totally starved for adult interaction? lol

Mel - wowsers...no nap for you kiddos? hope today is better for you.

And like Ruth...I love coming here to get a chuckle

Ruth - :bigarmhug: that Micah isn't getting over the cold like the others, but Yahoo to no vomiting and the fact that he is gaining.

Ruth, glad to hear that Micah is doing better. Hopefully he kicks the cold soon.

Mel, 7:45 sounds like a great wake-up time! So jealous.

Julie, crazy stuff about your mom! It does sound like there is a bit of jealousy going on.

Kerri, good luck with the 3 kiddos today.

Colleen, when are you going on your vacay again?

Deb, good luck on finding a solution for the door.

Peg, I have a boring drab gray comforter too..... Not by choice though. DH love the Oakland Raiders so everything in our house just so happens to be gray and black. He is very very adamate (sp?) about no girl colors or flowers on our comfortors so for his b-day I gave in and got the stinkin gray and black bedding

Emily, how in the heck do they put on a pullup wrong? Hopefully they can figure it out soon.

Oh ya, I forgot to tell you all that I scheduled an appointment to get permanent eyeliner done!! I am so stoked. I have really bad astigmatism and have to wear these thick, uncomfortable custom made contacts that make it impossible to wear any eye makeup. So I am very excited to get to "wear" eyeliner again :woohoo:
