Look at me, all on top of things! Woot! Now...to actually find time to READ any of this. Muah, love ya girls!
i would think firing a gun is probably out of the question......the kickback is crazy bone rattling.........
yes you totally can. I only ever use no cook noodles for my lasagna because I'm lazy and Ijust dont wanna cook 'em.
I always make 2, and cook one that night, and freeze the other without cooking. (the sauce of course is cooked because I make a meat sauce) but that's it.
cooking bean-free chili for dinner tonight (is that an oximoron? lol) my kids don't eat the beans, and I'm the only one who likes them. so I opt out of beans for my chili and they all nom nom nom itup
omg my hosue is a mess, I work tonight, and I have zero motivation to clean... even Adam coming home tonight isn't motivating me to clean.
maybe if I leave it a sh!ta$$ mess he'll never leave for 5 effin' weeks again?
my house is a disaster, and I dont work. I have no motivation to clean either or something else comes up and cleaning gets thrown out the door.
I think if I won the lottery, after I had a tummy tuck and lipo, I would hire a person to clean my house FOR.THE.REST.OF.MY.LIFE.
I really stink at cleaning. Like today I had a doc appt with Zack and didnt get home till about 2 and then cleaned the truck out some (got to windy, so had to quit).....now time for the bus, then Wyatt homework, cook dinner, do some dishes, kids baths, and then bed.....so no time today for any cleaning.
When do you all find the time to clean?
.cheesy meatloaf with brown gravy and FAT mashies for dinner. Now if only DH would get home so we could eat.
Vera, thanks for the lasagna answer. and I have to say, I've heard of meatless chili, but not beanless chili.
I work alot but I do it during my regular 5 day work week. Then my first day off is for cleaning and running around. Then my second day off is for whatever I want to do. It sucks though because I would rather be spending time with the kids then cleaning.
So a catologe for toys r us came in the mail. on the back was a coupon for a $10 gift card when you spend $75 or more. I think I am going to get the Leap Pad from there cause it had extras with it and get the gift card for another gift.
Ok Mel, the smaller you make the balloons the better!
One didn't survive (big one), another big one looks pretty pathetic but the other 3...TOTALLY LOVE!!!!!!!!!
busted a 9 x 13 pyrex all over my flipping kitchen floor....no tile busted, but holy cow I am mad at myself.
What a day
Stupid dentist took forever! then I had to go to Trader Joes to get the silly pasta and granola bars Owen likes.. he won't eat other brands..
then my sister calls and says she lost her keys and needs a ride home
of course the kids want to stay and play for a bit with her.. just got home!
I'm meeting a girlfriend for a drink tonight and I am so tired .. BLAH!
Kristi, the biggest difference in finding time to clean from me to you, I don't have freaking livestock to take care of, plus my DH runs his own affairs. My biggest problem with time and cleaning is NOT sitting here the entire 3 hours of the kids nap.
So Ben said "dookie" while reaching for my fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies...uh oh.
If I say it can I get one too? SOUNDS YUMMY!!! lol love dookie!
I have decided I am crafting crazy as a way to procrastinate unpacking. Half of my house looks so cute, and I am keeping up with it. Yet the bedrooms, especially mine. I will admit I am working 9 1/2 hour days and last weekend was the first full weekend here. But I still did nothing packing related. lol
ugh. someone unpack for me? organize my clothes. helpppp lol
Peej, unpack and organize your clothes as you wear and launder them.
kristi........my house is just picked up, not clean...........LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
and some days it's not even that.......LOL!!!!!!!!!!
jack is a tornado.......pick up walk away, drop...rinse, lather, repeat ALL>DAY>LONG!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!
kerri.........now i want dookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

made some good progress on the flying squirrel costume........LMAO......it even makes me chuckle when i say that..........LOL.....another one of those statements to add to the book in my pantry............LOL!!!!!!!!!
Got a buttload of multi-quotes... but no time. Off to go shop.
Noelle is driving me batty again. So disobedient, defiant, disrespectful. I'm going to take her through some of the Music for Young Years curriculum (think Kindermusik) and see if more structure in her life will help. I so wish some of you guys lived closer because it would be so much more fun to teach this to a group instead of just my kid. lol We'll see how it goes.
Maybe I'll have more time when I get back home and can catch up. Miss you all! Glad Mel's back.
Ruth, why don't you think about opening a class one day a week for say 14 weeks? You could make some cool fun cash. Going rate around here is $112 for a 14 week semester.
Colleen, I've been searching for just the right little funny to make you chuckle and take your mind off your woes for a few minutes. Here's an old one, but good one.
[FONT=Arial]A little old lady was walking down the street dragging two large plastic garbage bags behind her.
[COLOR=black]One of the bags was ripped and every once in a while a $20 fell out onto the sidewalk.
Noticing this, a policeman stopped her, and said,
"Ma'am, there are $20 bills falling out of that bag."
"Oh really? Darn it!" said the little old lady.
"I'd better go back and see if I can find them. Thanks for telling me officer."
Well, now, not so fast," said the cop.
Where did you get all that money? You didn't steal it, did you?"
"Oh, no, no", said the old lady. "You see, my back yard is right next to the Golf course.
On Golf days, a lot of Golfers come and pee through a knot hole in the fence, right into my flower garden.
It used to really tick me off. Kills the flowers, you know. Then I thought, 'why not make the best of it?
So, now, I stand behind the fence by the knot hole, real quiet, with my hedge clippers.
Every time some guy sticks his thing through my fence, I surprise him, grab hold of it and say,
'O.K., buddy! Give me $20, or off it comes.'
"Well, that seems only fair," said the cop, laughing.
"OK. Good luck! Oh, by the way, what's in the other bag?"
"Well, you know", said the little old lady, "not everybody pays."
Aw GROSS Mel!!
LOL that is wrong!
This my new motta wear, wash, put away.. maybe I will tape it to the dryer.
Just had a sappy cry fest looking at my baby through the years. I can't believe his next birthday will be 4. 4? Unbelievable.
I feel like I have been so snippy with him at home sometimes Little things even that don't really matter in the big scheme of things. Just feel like my tone changes fast. 9 1/2 hours with kids all day I am like done after the day, but need to remember he's still just one of them. Just sat by his bed while he was sleeping... seriously 3 1/2 years..
Must. Go. To. Bed.
buahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..............that is just my kind of sick humor!!!!!!!! i love it!!!!!!!!!!! thanks mel......it's been a bad day.......i'm just trying to sweep it under the rug.....which i know is wrong.....but i'm just not good with stress....LOL!!!!!!!

Hey girls...I am in bed...so thankful for my iPad!! My laptop has no internet and I've been busy all day today.
Soooooooooo nice to lay here and catch up with y'all!
Mel, thanks for the laugh!!!
Paula, ((hugs)) ... I have to say that one of the best things about my diagnosis has been re-evaluating my time with the kids. They still get to me sometimes, but I trynto just take it all in.
RUTH - you should totally do a little music class!! You could advertise at other local churches or at the pediatrician's office. But sorry Noelle is being like that. We exhausted all of our normal disciplining means with Cadence and they weren't working. We fi ally sat her down and told her if she wanted to do big girl things like gymnastics and preschool, then she needed to act like a big girl. That reminder helps sometimes. Most recently though, we took all of her baby dolls away for a day. Kind of weird, because she doesn't PLAY with them everyday, but they are ALWAYS right ther, in her bed. Etc...well, she did not like that one bit!!!
For us, she is good about 90-95% of the time...it is the other times that are so incredibly frustrating!
Oh dear, wish I had multi quoted!
Karrie, can't wait to see mikayla video!
And Emily, remind me what has you tied up these days? School? I hope miles isn't sick!
Colleen, I know I am gonna a sk you for the link to that stuff again when I am at my amazon ordering computer!!
Hey peg and julie!
Kristi, girl...I wishnyou had a break!!! Sorry about the pyrex. That stuff shatters into a million pieces!
Karina, hope you are feeling better. And you accomplished more yesterday than I do in a week!
Well, this post has taken me FORever and I can't remember anymore. Maybe I can pop on here tomorrow for a bit.
