Have at it, ladies!
Peg, he even poop talks in his sleep. What is it with little kids and talking about poop and fart all day long? That is so good that he at least sits on the potty. Lol I didn't even think about that kind of beaver She was watching Franklin at the time so I just assumed she was talking about the beaver on the show.
Colleen, how is Max this afternoon?
Nicole, I taught Bradley sitting down. Yay for DJ getting an early start!
Emily, I have to say I DID think of *that* kind of beaver, but I have the mind of a 15 year old boy! :ROFL:Daphne will drink water from a sippy all day long, still will not drink milk out of anything but a bottle and with me giving it to her sitting down. Tried the bottle letting her hold it, nope, I gotta hold her. So we are a LONG way from being bottle free, if the only way I can get her to drink milk is for me to feed it to her while sitting down, oh well lol!
Peg LOL at poop yelling!!! Ty cracks me up!!!!!!
Colleen how's Max! Has anyone else said anything about feeling off? HOPE NOT!!!!!!!!!!
Nicole good luck with the potty!!!!
Gaaaahhhh I just finished selling stuff on ebay, I've sold stuff on ebay for a long time, NEVER have sent out the wrong package. So I post something to sell on that FB page for the first time, 2 things sold. The one woman paid me, I have so much going on I put the wrong friggin thing and mailed it to her, the more expensive item. Ugh, I felt sick having to message her saying OOPS, sent you the wrong thing, I'll pay you to send it back and I'll send out the right item tomorrow. Here's hoping she'll send it back before this other woman pays me....I sent the non-payer a message asking if she paid me, since she said she did and it's not there....gee, what are the chances of me getting her item back before she pays? About zero. Guess that's the last time I'll be selling on that page!
Ahhhh well it might be okay, the momma I sent the wrong item to was completely understanding, said it's happened to her before, and she'll send the dress off to the right person when she gets it (I'll PP her the postage). The other woman who had not paid sent her money, so I had to message her the mix up, and hopefully she'll understand and not think it's a scam lol!
emily, my mind was in the gutter, too, when i read beaver..........LMAO!!!!!!
nicole...good luck with pting....max was a sitter at 1st....but very quickly changed to a standup boy....fruitloops/cheerios made all the difference in our potty training experience.........the boy had good aim!!!!
julie.....holy crap on the mix up......i'm already nervous to sell all of lucy's clothes when she starts outgrowing....i can totally see that happening........i'm glad it got settled relatively easily!!!!!!!!!!! phewwww!!!!!
took the kids out for icecream......lucy's school was having a fundraiser at friendly's....so we had taco's at home, then went out for dessert....it was mobbed........LOL.......but we got our icecream.....and the kids had a good time(so did i )
Eta: max is feeling human again :). Tfa
Cristina- Hugs. I know you have a lot on your plate to think about. Hopefully you can put it to the back of your mind for now and focus on holding your precious little one.
Good luck with the gardening! No, they've never seem to be bothered by it, although I really limit my caffeine intake. And they're nursing so infrequently (Micah is just once a day, Brian a small handful of times) that they're really not getting much milk from me anymore.
Emily, at beaver!!
Julie, oh man, I can totally see myself doing something like that!! I'm glad it was straightened out with little difficulty. That is so nice of the buyer to just ship it to the correct person!
Candace, is today your last day of radiation??
Mmmm. ice cream. I'm glad everyone is finally on the mend.
Mel, I hope you got to get out with Chelle last night. Is that short for Michelle? Just curious. P
Cristina, thinking about you today!!!
Sorry to anyone I missed. I took Brian to the pedi yesterday. He still has a fever, a bit of a dry cough and some deep-sounding congestion, but his nose isn't runny at all. His lungs/ears are clear, thankfully. The pedi wants to see the fever gone by tomorrow. Me, too. And Noelle started feeling warm last night before bed even though she insisted vehemently that she felt fine. She woke up in the middle of the night and told me she wasn't feeling good. Micah coughed a LOT during the night. It's weird, he's been on antibiotics for a week now and even though he acts like he's feeling better, he still has a TON of drainage and this productive cough. I think they're just catching stuff on top of the last crap they caught. Whatever the case, I have 3 sick kids by myself today. I really hoped that would never happen again, because it's heartbreaking to not be able to hold all 3 kids in your lap at once.
Anyway, just gearing up for what could be a rough day. Noelle also finally has her ENT appt this afternoon. I looked with the otoscope again and just don't see anything unusual anymore, but she says it still hurts... she also really doesn't want to blow her nose because she says it really hurts to do that.
what is everyone up to this weekend? my DH has a concert on Sunday afternoon but we're probably going to end up laying low and hope all the sickness just goes the heck away!!!
Sorry, Peg. hope the day flies by for you.
Mel, just saw the weather report. I hope you stay safe today!!!! KUP, kay?
where the heck is everyone??
Hello Happy Friday!
Good morning! Well, mid-morning. Wade is screaming, so I guess I should go get him...just wanted to say hi first and I'll BBL.
I think Mel had her volunteer shift this morning at the sale. Praying those storms ease off.
Morning ladies. I'm teaching out of town today but I have a full complement of TAs for once, so I will be around a lot today...at least until 2
sorry Peg, hope he is busy enough to not bug you too much!
Ruth, sounds like a quiet weekend is definitely in order at your house!
Colleen, glad everyone is feeling better and that you go icecream! YUM!
Mel, check in when you can!
I'm heading to my parents to visit for the weekend. We are going to a donkey rescue on Sunday. The kids are super excited...me too. Apparently they are very docile and friendly. They have one named Eyeore that Alicia is SUPER excited to meet.
just got home from lucy's dr. seuss parade....omg...sooo soooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gonna go upload pics then catch up!!!!!
Colleen, can't wait to see pics of the Dr. S parade!
Ruth, a weekend of laying low sounds like a good idea. Hopefully it will give everyone a chance to get better.
Peg, Pickles!! Twinkle Toes is not a good way to end the week.
Nicole, enjoy the donkey rescue and take some pics for us!
Julie, we are nowhere near getting rid of the bottle either.... JD is the same way as Daphne, he loves to be held when he drinks his bottle. It is totally a comfort thing. Oh well, I don't mind keeping my baby a baby a little longer
Mel, hope the bad weather stears clear of you!
