what kind of sticks did you use......are they the lollipop sticks like what you would get from the craft store???

i'm thinking of doing it actually for their easter party on the 22nd and making them bunnies.....i'll make cupcakes for her bday next week and maybe those for the easter party

i have seen other marshmellow bunnies where you slice up a marshmellow to look like ears and attach with a toothpick and decorate...hmmmmm......gotta brainstorm here...lol

Great pics...and beautiful patio.

Ugh...not looking forward to sand...right now it is still in the slush and gets tracked in on boots...

I may have to steal that marshmallow idea too.

lollipop sticks and the chocolate melting chips is from Michaels craft store (remember to print off your 40% off 1 item coupons!)
I also bought the sprinkles there..
I bought the foam circle there as well

I skewered the marshmellows while the chocolate was melting and then dipped them and sprinkled over a deep bowl and topped with mini m&m's (also at michaels)
took like 15 mins tops .. I let them "set" in the fridge for a bit and bagged the ones going into the goodie bags and made the display.
The kids went wild with them.. and some adults too!

my other idea was dipped in chocolate and rolled in crushed graham crackers Dirol

I bought the 60 packs of sticks = 1.5 bags of large mellows

oh ....i hope you weren't offended by me saying that's some sandbox....i was just laughing at myself that it must be pretty deep to be able to dig a whole big enough to fit a kids head!

Looks like a great party!! Love the idea of having stations for the kids to play. I'm going to have to make the marshmallows! I have some extra candy melts from cake balls. I've done that with pretzel rods and sprinkles, but never with marshmallows. Clever.

Your kids are so beautiful!!!
