GASP I know some of you will call me a liar..........

But, we've seriously had a pajama week. Jaxon wore clothes yesterday because we had company and Caroline was coming for speech. But, that is it. Otherwise, the kids have been in pjs ALL.WEEK.LONG.

Can you believe it?

Hahahaha!!!! Sorta the same here....Colby got dressed before noon today because DH took him somewhere...but other than that, since last week really he's been in PJ's til he feels like getting dressed himself, usually in the 4pm range...kinda pointless lol! I think there's nothing wrong with staying in PJ's though, but am pretty impressed that you guys have done this with the beautiful clothes both kids have!

Nope, I can't believe it!

The only person who has managed that here is DH. I refuse to let the kids eat in pajamas, and I myself can't stand to be in them all day. BUT, I wear a close second, "lounge wear" type stuff. Which, I admit, fits perfectly under snow pants, so no need to dress to go out. Today we went for a walk in minus 21 degree weather (that is minus 6 in Americanese)...it was GORGEOUS sunshine, and much better for comfy wear under all the padding.

I don't believe you. I think you need to post pictures. Wink

I've been getting my kids dressed. Mostly because I haven't been able to do it myself for the past 6mths and I am here alone this week. Well, Cadence gets dressed by herself. And picks out clothes herself. And she really and truly does not like most of what I want her to wear. Go figure.

Anyway, proud of you, Mel!

Oh, and Karina. I actually prefer to let the kids eat breakfast in their pjs - then they don't get their clothes for the day dirty!! But no bath until after dinner because I can't let them eat supper in pjs...then their beds would have food all over them!

This is exactly our routine too!

Mel, I am so very proud of you! We had Tia in her PJs all day once this week, but they've been dressed most days because we've been running around. Pax loves getting dressed every morning, it's one of the few things we don't have to fight to accomplish.

That's exactly what we do here, otherwise they would be covered in breakfast when we leave the house and their sheets would be covered in dinner, lunch we just make do.

Good for you, Mel! I am a stickler for getting dressed every day too, but Monday we did the same thing, the kids changed out of pj's from the night before at bath time only to put on new ones. It did confuse William though, he woke up from his nap still in pj's and asked for breakfast Wink

For those who breakfast in PJs: Do you change their pajamas daily? Bath daily?

I want a pajama day today...it is minus 13 Fahrenheit and I have to go grocery shopping...

Pictures, please, Mel!!!!!!!!

I didn't take pictures of jamma week, I would never make a record of something like that. ROFL

The only time my camera came out this week was when my bff brought her 7 week old over. I have the sweetest pics of Jax holding him. I'll upload to facebook soon.

Mel, can't wait to see that pic!

Karina, bath and new pjs every night. Actually, sometimes we skip bath 1 night a week, but new pjs every night. Unless Cadence wants to wear her Dora nightgown 2 (or 3!) nights in a row. That's where I draw the line!

Miles hasn't been dressed in real clothes since last Friday, lol. Even *I* stayed in my jammies all day one day this week!

Karina - we do new jammies every night (usually) but bath every other night (usually). Weekends are exceptions. But since he has school M, W, F, we always do bath the night before. Sometimes "play baths" in between. He rarely gets his pj's dirty while eating breakfast, but his breakfast time is my shower time so I don't really give him anything that would get him that dirty (like I'd trust him alone, lol). Maybe crumbly more than anything.

Jayden would stay in his jammies all day if I let him. The kid hates to get dressed.
I was at the donut shop yesterday am & 2 kids (prob 10yrs or so) came in with their pjs on & slippers. Ok, a donut shop to pick up donuts in the am with jammies is ok I guess...but wearing your slippers out. Yuck.

Edited to add: it's 10:30 am here, I'm still in my jammies and feeling lazy! Must get dressed. Wink

Wow, you guys must have a ton of laundry! We do a bath night once a week and that's when we change jammies. I guess that explains why I don't let them stay in them during the day, let alone eat in them!

ITA, slippers outside?? Gross!

Baths every other night unless they need it...(Belle was in the put lay place at mcds for an hour and a half so a bath was necessary) new pjs after bath. They do eath breakfast in their pjs except week days. We rarely ever stay home enough for pjs allc day., I do it with Ben occasionally....

We do baths every other night, unless necessary (ie playing in the mud, etc.), even with dye free organic soap and lathering them up with Eucerin afterward the boys both get dried out skin if we do baths every night. And we do clean jammies every night too. I love Carter's jammies so I tend to over buy them Wink

Way to go Mel!!!

Delaney got dressed everyday because she gets herself dressed. However, most days she was not wearing anything that she would be allowed out of the house wearing!

During the week, Delaney takes a shower every morning. It's easier because it gets her woken up and also if she doesn't wash her hair, I have to spray it with water which she hates. Go figure. We usually skip Saturday showers. New pj's everynight because I feel like with her wearing a pull up that gets wet, her jammies will smell like pee. However, I have been known to pull out a nightgown from the dirty laundry out of desperation...gasp!!

There were a couple of days this week that I stayed in my pjs most of the day while cleaning. But before I went to bed, I showered and put on new pjs. I love lazy days!!!

We do baths 1-2 times a week, or if needed. Primarily b/c of DJ's eczema. They get new pj's every night, DJ sweats a LOT and Alicia tends to wear them until she HAS to pee in the morning -she hates getting undressed- so I'm not sure how "clean" they are when she takes them off. New PJs all around! I wear PJs or lounge wear around the house on weekends (usually I get into them when I get home from work too!) and I lived in it the past week. SO comfy. Although the neighbours did give me a second look when I answered the door in my flannel pjs at 2 pm Smile

Growing up we'd only wear our PJs to bed and would keep wearing the same ones for many days at a time. Once I developed and started wearing deodorant then I'd change it maybe every 3rd night. Nowadays I use it twice maybe.

For the girls we bathe every night or every other night. I usually put on new PJs with the bath. They frequently eat breakfast in them though, so if they get dirty from that then I tend to let them wear it until we go outside (or until that night's bath HAHA). PJs are frequently their "in house" clothing of choice.
