I love jury duty

That is all. Smile Just enjoying the peace and quiet, free hot chocolate, and wi-fi. I hope they keep me all day!

Ya know, I'm with you sista. EVERYBODY complains about jury duty, but I'd actually LOVE to be stuck in a room with a bunch of adults that don't talk.

Glad you had a quite morning! Our courts do not give us hot chocolate or Wi-Fi....we get a quite room and hard chairs. I would look forward to JD too if I had that setup!

Yeah, I was very impressed! They had a movie-theater-type room and played movies, a quiet room with comfy-ish chairs for people who wanted to read (or nap!), a kitchen with complimentary beverages and paid vending machines, a fridge, microwave and toaster oven. They offered magazines, books, puzzles, even several computers if you didn't have a laptop. It was great!

I want to be there! The last time I went, we were all sitting in the court room and that is where they keep you. All you can do is read or use the internet on the phone. Luckily for us, the defendant did not show up. I did get $5.00 for my time.
