After I lost the baby- it was hard to come back to the site....
Tonight I feel the same pain and need someone to talk to
So sorry nobody was up to chat when you posted last night, Maddie.
And also so very sorry for your loss.
I found tremendous support on the loss forums here at preg.org after the early miscarriage I had.
Hope you will feel better and better. :bigarmhug:
How's Riley doing and how are things going with you otherwise?
((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) i'm so sorry for your loss ((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))

Hope you start to feel better soon and I am so sorry for your loss :bigarmhug:

I'm so sorry Maddie :bighug:
I am so sorry for your loss :bighug:
I didn't know you lost the baby...:bigarmhug:
Thanks Ladies- I really appreciate the hugs and such.
Riley is doing fantastic. I get him from his father tomorrow (we switch off every week). I'm excited to have him for Halloween this year. He's getting so big and so smart. We had our check up last week. He's 35 lbs (50%tile) and 40 1/4 inches tall (75%tile). He has a couple of viral warts on his side but the Dr said as long as he isn't scratching them we can wait to have them removed- or if they aren't speading period. Hopefully we can get them soon so they don't spread!
I'm doing alright. I'm currently only working 9 hrs a week as a lifeguard/Learn-to-swim instructor (I actually teach Aqua Aerobics and one class of 3-5 yr olds). Jay (SO) is currently working more than I am. I went to a job interview Thursday and got an email from them requesting I call them (I got it late friday) so I will be calling them back Monday. Jay doesn't want me to take the job though because we are struggling and he thinks it might hurt our relationship because I'll be so focused on work. I'm not sure if they will offer me the job but it would be a hard one to decline (full time position, $16/hr and benefits... I'd be working for the City). What do you ladies think I should do?
Thank you for the suggestion on the Preg Loss boards. I've been on there a couple times but not a lot of people are on there right now that I've seen.
Anyway- if I don't get/take this job I might be on the boards more often because I'll be pretty much a SAHM which would be nice but stressful on the financial end. Sorry... I'm blabbering. I gotta go head to the Pool to do some inservice. You ladies have a good day and thanks again.
So sorry for your loss :bigarmhug:
Wow, that sounds like an amazing job. If I could find something like that with benefits, I would be jumping all over it, especially at $16 an hour. What would you be doing? How long are the hours.
What is Riley going to be for Halloween?
So sorry for your loss. :bigarmhug:
The job sounds like a great opportunity if they offer it. Financial struggles can be tough on a relationship and maybe working more would be good for you. Good luck with whatever you decide/however it works out.
Feeling like I dropped the ball bigtime. I saw this post a few days ago but got pulled away before I could open it and then I forgot.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Maddie. :bighug:
I wouldn't even think about turning down a job to cultivate a romance. Plus if it is for the city it has to be pretty decent hours, right? I hope they offer it to you and you jump at it.
I definitely would take the job if it were offered - full benefits are hard enough to come by these days...add a decent salary to that and the job security of working for the city (assumed) and that is very hard to turn down. The relationship will either work or it won't - but if it doesn't, it won't be due to you taking that job.
Glad to hear that Riley is doing well. So sorry to hear about your loss
So someone else got the job. They suggested I apply for the PT position during the summer and get some training. It's alright though.... I am in charge of a DJ business with Jay so I can focus on that and he also sells stuff on Ebay so I'll help out with that. It is definitely nice to be able to stay home with Riley (although at times he drives me up the wall. lol)
Riley was spiderman for halloween. It was cuuute. LOL he had a lot of fun.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, and also that you didn't get the job, it would have been a great opportunity. But just not the right time.
I haven't been on the boards too much myself, but I tell you, this is a fabulous place to come and chill and vent when needed we all do it, and we're all here for eachother. I hope you stick around
