i bought the smaller of the 2 kits.......and used every last drop of a couple of the product steps......it was only 79 bucks for the small kit......maybe refinish the cabinets and some other accent pieces???? to get your $$'s worth...?? i would highly recommend this product to anyone.....it was very user friendly!!!!!!!!! the glazing was what made it look so great, IMO....

laurie.......your bathroom looks fantastic!!!!!!!!! there are so many options out there for countertop refinishing.....i wish i researched it a bit more.......but i didn't......LOL......on a scale of 1-10 the rustoleum kit is about a 6 or a 7.......now that the topcoat has complete set ........it does look really good......LOL.......not perfect, but i can deal with it......i just hope it holds up!!!!!!!!! my countertops take a beating!!!!LOL!!!!!!

ok........grand total......i didn't individualize everything........but the kitchen redo consisted of a new stove, a new microwave, a new couch, custom order backsplash, and a new window.......i think the window was the most expensive thing we purchased......and it's nothing special.....LOL......but the kits, and all the supplies that we needed......(with the window comes new shingles/insulation/etc...) 4 gallons of paint, rollers, etc........for a grand total of $2220.98.......my goal was to keep it under $2000.......so i went over by a bit......we decided not to redo the floor...... i wish we had it in the budget, but....i'm already over 200 bucks over what we wanted to spend.......

I LOVE it!!!! That backsplash really does make the whole kitchen, but I just love the cabinets and countertops, too! Yeah, those dang windows are so expensive! But it's nice to have shiny new ones. Smile

Awesome job, Colleen!! What are you going to do now with all this extra time? lol I'm sure you'll find something...

well, when dan comes home from work, i'm always cooking supper.....so instead of sitting at the kitchen table hardwood chairs.....we have always had a couch....my kitchen is VERY long......we thought about making a breakfast nook with the opening above the couch.....but decided a couch was way more comfy......LOL....so dan sits there, takes his boots off, unwinds, sometimes falls asleep, or the kids pigpile him on the couch......when i need to have a one-on-onw with the older kids.....we usually go and sit out in the kitchen.......it's just been our thing for the last almost 12 yrs.......

Oh, and I am seriously having backsplash envy. Every time I walk into my kitchen I think "man it would look so good with a backsplash!!"
