Let's see some of those Christmas cards or group shots in front of the tree!
Not the greatest pic
getting ready for the christmas card photo ......see my new thread for the photo.......
An awful pic of Wyatt this morning at his Christmas concert I could not keep steady for a good photo.....I was so mad at myself.
don't mind sarah's crosseyed look........she was posing  but it was funny.....max got home from school while lucy had her friends over decorating the cones and he helped himself to make one......and then sarah came home late after basketball, and she had to make one......they are still kids!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!
couple pics of lucy this week...
couple of jack.......right after a tub.....love his curls!!!! the boy climbs on everything....everything!!!!!
so happy he made it up....
then the "told ya could do it momma" look
abby and jack playing one morning....so cute!!!!
oops........sorry, i didn't play by the rules i don't have any group or holiday pics.....just those from the week.....sorry
kelly great pics.....love the white tree, and did you get a lump in your throat watching owen at his christmas play??? i used to always get so choked up at those things.......LOL!!!!!
kristi......great pics!!!! cheyenne is adorable!!!!!! and so is wyatt!!!!LOL!!!!!! i love your pics in the other thread, too!!!!!! both are beautiful!!!!!
Ok, here they are
My little ham. Loves the camera
Abigail HATES the camera and is constantly making goofy faces whenever one is out.
VERY SICK OF THE POPARAZZI. Do you see the mean snotty little face behind that hand?
It was 65 degrees last night. So we were playing outside once dad got home from work
Wow, Mel, the camera was worth the wait!!!! Sooo clear. And adorable, mean snotty face and all, lol.
Colleen, Lucy could model MJ for real. You should look into it! Love the curls on Abby and Jack.
Owen is soo handsome. Love the pjs and housecoat!
I will start by following the rules...lol.
Here is the tree before it got decorated. The cat thinks it is pretty nifty to have a tree in the house.
After being decorated:
(For a family Xmas pic and Xmas card, please refer to my siggy.)
Now on to other things (and breaking the rules, lol).
Anna had her ballet "recital" last Sunday. Here she is with the boys and her grandparents before the class:
And a few shots from the class - we mostly took video.
And my necklace is finally ready...yet to be picked up, but the jeweler sent me this photo...said it doesn't do it justice, so we'll see, but it gives you some idea. The twist is something you do when you go to put it on - you can also wear it as three strands, and the pendant is removable:
Love Owen's little grin in the second pic at school.
LOVE the montage of Jack and Abby kissing. *gush*
Karina, That necklace is PERFECT!!!! Great job. LOVE your little ballerina. So Sweet.
The camera is SO OVERWHELMING. Those are the only decent shots out of like 113. AND I can't figure out how to get the 2 movies off the card. NONE of my upload programs are recognizing it to upload it off. I didn't have this problem with my Sony. All I did was connect the camera and Picasa copied everything and wiped the card. I'm wondering if I have to connect the rebel instead of using a card reader to get them off. Anyone know?????
Mel love the new camera pics! Abs looks HUGE.. I forget that she isn't much older than Everly!
(I usually take the card out and stick it in my desktop computer's card reader.. that way it doesn't erase anything off the card ..I do it manually on purpose)I have no idea on the videos.. mine doesn't do that.
are you shooting in auto mode? it should do everything for you! if you are trying Manual mode you can spend days learning it.. a good book is Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson (I got it on Amazon)
It just takes time is all.. but in auto it should be a snap to get good shots!
Karina love the ballet pics! and the necklace is very nice!
Colleen- cutie patooties!
Kristy I had the same issue with Owen's play I tried using the telephoto lens indoors.. I learned that lesson.. *sigh*
You know honestly, I have a great 10megapixel point and shoot. I swore if I got this camera I would NOT rely of the full auto features, but really learn how to use the camera. So, it was a lot of experimenting last night. I'm really liking the Creative Auto feature. HATE the lens that came with it, 18/55 need one with better zoom. LOL
Great breakdown of what lens to use.
one of my photography Fb pages posted this.
I agree, great article on K & A site for understanding lenses.
Mel, just know that you won't get GREAT indoor pictures without lots of natural light. Do younknow how high your ISO goes?
mel........beautiful pics for the 1st day with the camera!!!!! adorable little subjects to have to work with!!!!!!!!
karina.........love the tree, and the ballet pics are precious!!!!!! and OMG......your gonna need a million dollar dress to go with that fancy, schmancy gorgeous necklace........
I am a horrible mother when it comes to taking pictures lately!
Love all the photos and Karina, the necklace is BEAUTIFUL!!
Mel - even with the fancy camera, unless I'm actually either playing around or actually doing a "photo shoot" I just don't have enough time to use other settings with M. If I'm trying to actually catch a "moment" rather than a "photo" I use auto.
Beautiful pics everyone! What great first photos Mel! Abs little scrunched up face is adorable!
Here are pictures of the two youngest that im took and going to frame ... I have yet to do the other two boys
Cassandra, those pictures are GORGEOUS!!! Have I asked what kind of camera YOU have?
This is the dress I'll be wearing with that necklace in July...just need some kind of wrap to go with (I have a choice of gold or black shoes):
And I plan to wear the pendant on a gold chain sometimes.
Kelly love Owen in the school production, so cute! And E by the tree, adorable!
Kristi, Cheyenne and Wyatt are so cute together, but I really love the shot of Cheyenne by herself, she's so sweet!
Colleen as always, a day in your house looks like so much fun!!!!! I'd love to spend a day there, I think anyone in the house can't help but smile! Love Jack and Abby together, kisses are so cute! Sarah is a goof, and when did Jack get so big?????
Mel, great shots with the new camera! Love that Abs doesn't want pics taken, makes for some great shots! And Jax looks like an English schoolboy to me, I expect to hear him talk with an accent!
Karina love Anna with her class!! And I love seeing another pic of Hef, hahaha! He really does look like him! And what a gorgeous necklace!!
Cassandra, great pictures! I can't believe how big Candace is!!
Here's Daphne today, very unimpressed with the cupcake, we are doing a cake get together on Sunday....
What is THIS???
I don't like it even if you take the icing off!!!
I'm just going to ignore it...
OhMyWord Julie!!!! What a riot. Send me that cupcake, I'll dive into for you.
karina!!!!!!!!! that dress is fantastic......now i remember that whole, lets dress karina thread.......LOL!!!!!!!!! you are gonna look like royalty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
julie........gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....................those pics are soooooooo great.......and the commentary is so fitting!!!!!!! what a little stinker......you sure she's your kid.......not wanting to eat a cupcake!!!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG the pictures of Abs are adorable!! I can't believe her hair.
Colleen - we love jacks curls over here too!! Loving the MJ and Abby too!
Karina - loving the ballet pics!! We're about to start ballet! So cute
A video of Belle and Ben saying good bye this morning:
Julie, those cupcake pictures are priceless! I'm just going to ignore it...
Kerri, I sure hope that is a dog I hear. Or does DH have a nasty cough? I kept waiting to see the dog, but everyone just ignored it...I guess that is what it'll be like around here when I finally get my pom. Belle's French braid is so pretty - I cannot imagine having enough hair to work with for that, Anna's is like a puff of smoke. Very sweet hugs and goodbyes...just tell your DH to get a throat lozenge, lol.
Yup, that would be our stupid dog. She just really doesn't like it when we leave. She's a shih tzu and just really likes people.
Thanks for the compliment on Belle's hair. I love doing her hair and she doesn't want it cut. It was hard enough to get her to let us trim it.
ETA this is the third time I've posted a response. I hope this one sticks.

regan!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love seeing pics of cohen!!!!! that train is so awesome......omg.....he must have loved that!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks. I'm not sure why that last pic won't turn the right direction. And why the "img" thing shows up. I'm not versed on this new layout yet I don't think. LOL! Yes, he LOVED the train. We all did really. It is really neat. There is a car that's stage they have band perform but it's just fun to walk up and down and look at all the lights.
Yall, I want to reply to all of these, but no energy (brain or arm!)...love them every.single.one!!! Seriously, so fun to look at them!
Regan, that train is amazing! Cohen is always so handsome. And what a cute dog - how long does he let you put that hat on him for?
Oh thank you. The dog doesn't love the hat but she tolerates for treats. LOL! She'll do anything for treats. I have to be quick tho. Set it on her head, snap the pics. She does really well. She was actually easier to get to sit with the hat on than Cohen was. Seriously!
