So I totally went MIA since I went to Ontario.
That whole weekend was a bit of a gong show. I was REALLY hoping to get at least an hour to see Allie & Jord and what not, but I barely had time to pee, let alone see anyone.
My wonderful friend, has ZERO concept of time LOL. Everythign was rushed, including a near allnighter to finish the wedding cake, the night before the wedding... no stress though
The wedding itself was fabulous. I had an amazing time.... from what I remember of it LOL - I was VEEEERY drunk (not like me at all... but hey) and veerry sick the next day :puke2: grooooossss
Well, now I'm back, and I'm working again, so between the kids and stuff during the day, and work 3-4 evenings a week, and of course my husband gone all-the-effin-time (oh hunting season how I detest you) it leaves very little time for much else. I get on FB on my phone usually, and I really think they need to get a preg.org app for iPhone. yup I do.
So yeah, my laundry is backed up, my basement is atrocious (sp?) my bedroom looks like a bomb went off, but hey my kitchen is clean LOL (just ignore the rest of the house and you'll think my house is clean!)
So... new here, well, emma is getting hearing aids... yup. I'm not sure if I told you all yet, that we discovered about a year and a half ago that she has hearing loss (explains a helluva lot!), she has what's called a "cookie bite" hearing loss, meaning her low tones and high tones she hears normally, but the mid tones are very bad. so when looking at her hearing on a chart, it looks like someone took a bite out of it. So after her last hearing test in Sept. and noticing that its gotten slightly worse, I asked what we can be doing, because her marks arent' getting any better... and she suggested hearing aids... which seems odd to me because, she can hear... but I think we'll all be surprised how little she has heard when the aids arrive. We have to get a prescritpion from a Ear Nose & Throat specialist in order for the government to cover the majority of the cost of the aids (for those of you who don't know, aids run anywhere from $1200-$5000 EACH and she needs 2) sooooo THANK GOODNESS the government covers like 85% or something to a maximum cost to us of $500. So her aids will probably be like $4000 and we'll have to pay $500. sweet! AND Adam's benefits MAY cover that!!! WOOT! I gotta look into it.
That's basically it for now... I'll try to be better, I'm sorry
I miss you ladies
