So, earlier this week, driving home from a trip into town, traffic was all backed up. I was traveling south on a small stretch of the road, over an expressway overpass that is divided, you know there is a short concrete barrier between the north bound and south bound lanes and a grassy median before and after the concrete barrier. There was an accident in the north bound lane right at the grassy median part just after the concrete barrier, and if you slowed down enough, you could get a really good view of the accident. Which you all know, EVERY SINGLE PERSON just HAS to do this. Which, you all know, just ticks me the hell off. The southbound traffic has no lane obstruction whatsoever, it's a freaking divided street, so the only reason for the bumper to bumper, stop and go, sit through the same traffic light 756 times crap is because everyone needs to be a nosy bird.
So, fess it up. Who among us is a rubber necker? What's the attraction of holding up traffic just to see some tangled metal? Help me have more compassion for that driver in front of me that I totally want to just ram into and maybe 'teach' them a lesson.
