What are YOU asking Santa for?

I know we tend to forget about ourselves, but what are you asking for this year?

What are you getting other grownups on your list?

I went all out and asked for an electric griddle!! And style snaps (https://www.buystylesnaps.com/?MID=1274405). LOL.

I really want a "mom ring," but our kids had to be born in April with a diamond birthstone, right? And unfortunately a diamond ring for myself is not in the budget.

As for the other grownups (my parents, siblings, etc). For some strange reason I think these things are ridiculously awesome: http://www.brookstone.com/obol-never-soggy-cereal-bowl?bkiid=SearchResults|CategoryProductList|726941p

I am upgrading my diamond earrings (studs) from DH

I asked for a Breville Mini Pie Maker from William Sonoma
http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/breville-pie-maker-bpi640xl/?pkey=e%7Cbreville%7C35%7Cbest%7C0%7C1%7C24%7C%7C24&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacet-_-NoFacet-_-NoMerchRules-_-

seems silly but this thing rocks! you can take your leftovers and make lunch sized mini "pot pie style" pies in 7 mins! AWESOME! not to mention all the desserts it makes.. so cooooollllll

I also asked for a few other assorted things I need new wine glasses and some table lamps for the living room.

Electric girdle!! ROFL

Not asking for anything really, DH got me an iPad for an early birthday present, but I assume Christmas is in there as well. He'll probably get me the usual Bath and Body works lotions and maybe some earrings though. not sure what to get him, totally clueless on that....we've never asked each other for specific presents, which does make it kind of hard!

Making most of the gifts this year. Been making cool magnets with friends, rosemary infused olive oil, going to do several handprint projects for the grandparents. Stenciling on muslin and framing it, stuff like that.

ROFL Now I want an electric girdle too!!!

DH and I don't normally exchange Xmas gifts. That said, the necklace our jeweler is (supposedly) working on is going to have to cover my gift quota for a while. I have an awful relationship with jewelers...this is the second experience that is not going well. I may vent about it for the extremely bored among you...Just tell me if you are sick of this topic already, LOL.

i want new windows........
and now i want an electric girdle.........put on, plug in, tighten up, unplug and go.....i can totally see the whole marketing campaign..........LOL!!!!!!!!!!
i want to get a facial and a makeover.......

I am getting a membership to the Y. Add me to the list of those wanting an electric girdle though Wink

I got DH a laptop so he can (hopefully) find an internet cafe and skype with us when he pulls into ports.

Right now I would settle for something simple. For people to be who they say they are and stop with the lies and the drama. But since that is dang near impossible....

I would love love love a DSLR camera, photography classes, and know how to use photoshop.

a dishwasher, and my micro above the stove to be installed. My littles arent allowed to use the micro after Wyatt put something in the micro with a metal twist tie on it......so I have to monitor the micro use anyway......;) nothing like something sparking to get a new rule in the house......

electric girdle. will that suck in all the belly flab.....sign me up!!!! DH would love an electric griddle. He has one he uses on the gas stove for pancakes.

ROFL at least your blossom stuck to the schedule. Mine decided to stick me with the ever so ugly aquamarine. Not that I'm bitter or anything. Wink

Not so sure anything I want is 'tangible'. I miss the surprises my DH would get for me. I guess those are the consequences for having one income which I now control. ROFL Maybe I'll hand the man a couple of hundreds and tell him to surprise me.

Well, now maybe I'll send him after an electric girdle.

Hmm, thinking maybe the IPAD could be a "family" gift. All 3 of us could use it! But we would wrap it up for Karina and then steal it!!

I have no idea, me and DH don't usually exchange anything of great worth because his bday is Dec 15th and mine is Jan 30th.

ILs usually drop some pretty serious cash for our Christmas on something of our choosing...this year we told them we had everything we need so they could surprise us.

Things I could use around the house:
set of sheets
down pillow
mattress pad (can you tell I've spent a lot of time in the bed lately!)
toaster

Things I want:
camera lens
Camera strap
robe
Slippers
bras

I am sure dh will get me a charm or two for my bracelet. I want to get him something really nice, but I don't know what.

DH and I aren't exchanging gifts this year. We had an expensive year, building our house last year, then lots of little projects over the summer like painting the garage, expoxy on the floors, buying storage stuff for the garage, landscaping, staining the deck, building a fire pit....so yeah MERRY CHRISTMAS! Biggrin However we do want to each take C out separately to pick something out for each of us. So he gets the "giving" part and has to think about what someone else might want - besides himself.

We also aren't exchanging gifts with DH's family this year, so there won't be many gifts for DH and I. My Dad and Step Mom and my Mom will be the only ones buying for us.

Some things on my wishlist are:
cheese slicer
Bridesmaids DVD
waffle maker
new chi flat iron (mine is slowly dying)
calendar
perfume
some neat decorative picture frames
new kitchen shears
bed sheets (neutral)

Exciting list, I know.

I really wanted one too but couldn't afford a decent size diamond. So...I opted for MY birthstone as the center and the diamond on the side. There is actually room next to the diamond for another stone if I ever decided to have another child. But, it looks great without it. Nothing huge or fancy but I love it Smile

I don't have a very exciting list of suggestions for myself this year. I don't have a ton of people that buy for me. My list includes:
new sheets
new towels/hand towels for bathroom
new pillow
gift card

I would love but won't I will ask for:
a grill
new microwave
snow blower
a new wardrobe (but I MUST lose at least 15 lbs first)
photography classes/editing classes and software

Steph - do you have a pic? Where did you get it? I often have a gemvara ad at the top of my screen on here and it's like it's taunting me because thats the one I want (I am thinking stackable ones so I could do one now and one for mothers day or later if I have to save longer). Oh, and unfortunately my birthdstone is sapphire so it's still not a cheap stone!

ITA, my first thought was, picture please!!!

My birthstone is pink...hate it. Sad

Plus, if I did my kids, it would be ruby, emerald and diamond - I'd be like a walking Christmas ornament.

I'd settle for a mom ring too,DH could even say it's an engagement ring

I'm saving my swagbucks for a Kindle, I have $105 so far added to my account. DH wants me to get the Kindle fire and said he'll give me the extra to get it. Smile other than that I don't know what I want...maybe a bathroom reno?? with a tub that's not on legs so the kids can't flood the bathroom everytime they bathe or the shower curtin that surronds the whole tub doesn't stick to me everytime I shower. Seriously a pedestal tub is awesome...if you have a seperate shower too.

I had to lol reading this...most of the items we Mom's want are things for the house...toilets Colleen Wink

DH and I aren't doing gifts this year...we will do stockings for each other because I remember asking my Mom why she and Dad didn't get stockings when I was really young. Were they bad that year? They always did stockings after that. I already warned them they have to have them this year as we are having Christmas morning with them.

I don't have anything on my list that is affordable. I want a DSLR camera...

I also asked for sheets. Why did my Mother's sheets from her wedding shower last 20 years and mine barely made it 6? Really?

We ordered the Kindle Fire as a family gift, but I don't think DH and I will do anything else for each other.

I'm buying mostly gift cards for people. It's sort of a complicated thing to explain, but for Bri's band trip (and mine) in March to DC, we each have to raise $990. So we've been doing non-stop fundraising. One of our better fundraisers is the Dillon's(Kroger) gift cards. You load them and use them to make purchases at Dillon's and they give 5% back to Bri's account. So if I buy giftcards at Dillon's it's like getting free money for Bri's trip. I figure who doesn't like $ to go out to eat/go shopping/go to the movies.

Electric girdle cracks me up!!! ROFL

Those cereal bowls are pretty cool!!
