Birthday ideas?

so has anyone started thinking about party or present ideas yet? just realized that it's 2 1/2 months away and budgeting and booking is required for some activities!

as for us, thinking maybe build a bear and a movie at west edmonton mall (she loves the fire breathing dragon!) and a wagon (okay that's more for us before the stroller bites it!) and maybe a kitchen set.

we are going for the Tangled theme for kylee. we really dont have a huge party since all our family lives 12 hours away but we still buy a cake and decorate because its still a holiday! so far we have bought the rapunzel doll and play dress..it came in a set together. and a leapster 2 that was on sale for like $20 before christmas. it was a deal we couldnt pass up. shes obsessed with ryan's leap pad and loves to play it but shes still a little young for it. (we have one in the closet for her but will save it until shes 3) and im thinking about buying the tangled castle playset too. and she will probably get a toddler bed. Sad we will start introducing the potty seat around that time and i know she has to be able to get out of the bed to use it at night soo..looks like we will be moving on from the crib soon. diapers and crib are the last 2 things that are tying her to a baby! i dont want to give them up! Lol that may be it for her bday because its on easter this yr so she will get a basket from the easter bunny too. and i believe we are going to get them both (as a combined gift) a power wheels toy in may (which would be in between both bdays) and that will be their "big" gift for their bdays. thats all i have so far.

Awww, fun themes, ladies!! We will be doing an Olivia theme. Maia is obsessed. Luckily Olivia is about the cutest cartoon ever, and I don't get sick of watching it over and over and over and over.... Wink I saw some Olivia party stuff on Amazon, so I'll be getting that.

As for gifts, I want to get her a kitchen playset and a trike.

Can you believe our babies will be 2??? Time does fly!

Noah has decided he wants a toy story theme again. They will be having a joint party again too. So it saves me money since I still have the decorations from last year.

Question. Nathan's birthday is the day before easter. Should I do the party on his birthday or the following weekend?

Depends on how big into easter your family is ... if it's a really big deal, I'd do the week after, after all, at this age his birthday is whe you say it is, and a week isn't a big deal.
