I just made 3 AIO diapers, and I'm working on the bedding set - The quilt is about 2/3 done, and haven't started the bumper pad or bedskirt yet. I'll post pics of all of them once I get them done. I also made a few flannel swaddle blankets and some cloth wipes. Those are not exciting at all though Wink

you girls have inspired me to try... but i haven't crocheted in about nine years... and it's not turning out that great, LOL. I'm just trying to keep it simple and make a little square lap blanket... (and I chose fuzzy yarn to hide some of the imperfections!) If it's not too hideous when I finish I'll post a pic!

Great work! I've been knitting less than usual lately. I'm working on a pair of longies for DS (and he's the size of an 8-year-old - what have I gotten myself into???) and a pair of socks that utilize a new-to-me technique, so they are slow-going, but fun. KWIM?

here we go... I've finally FINISHED something for LO!
these are for his/her room - there's a third one as well that is still in progress... we're going for the Classic Pooh theme in the room.

this is the first cross stitch I've done in AGES.... am pretty pleased with the way they turned out!

if LO is a girl then I've got the layette that my mum made for ME to come home in. I'll get a pic of that up as well, although I can take no credit for it! lol

DS's longies have been hibernated until the fall (luckily, they are too big on him now, so perhaps waiting will work out well). I knit two pairs of socks lately. And I'm currently working on another pair for DH.

I love love love love love these socks. I plan to take them with me to the hospital, just in case I have chilly feet.

Done with scrapbook supplies. I making another one for my older son that his name will be written in the steam coming out of Thomas' funnel. Since he is such a BIG Thomas the Train fan.

so I've decided to recycle some old flannel sheets into CDs for J!!

Here's my first attempt

He peed through it in about 5 minutes! lol

I've got some better fabric to make the inside and soaker now, so am hoping the next model is a bit more absorbent! Also have the materials to make an AIO and a Pocket - not brave enough to try them yet though!

i have to make jade into a fairy for next sat (mommy group is having a pirates and fairies picnic with prizes) so i went looking for wings (not having the mats on hand), dollar store ahouy! didn't find all that i was looking for but who would have thought the my little bug was the perfect size for gardening decoration(s)
now to turn this

back of butterfly, going to use this side out

front, this will be against her back

i will post pics when it's all complete!!! i love that she is the perfect size to do this!

wings complete!

to wear with this dress (staps will tie up under dress because there are buttons all the way down the back, going to put onsie underneath so the strap isn't right on her skin)

and for those who don't know, our very own Kylie (Kylie87) makes beautiful headbands (see her facebook page) and i ordered a cute purple lace headband to go with this! should be a blast, i'll update this post next sat when she is all dressed up!

Thanks ladies! I actually have made a few blankets...but the red one is the only one that required sewing. I actually stitched together all of the squares.

Here is a picture of one of the purple ones I also made...but they were no sew.

my latest work of art, found a hat pattern that doesn't make me bald trying it!

daddy has a green one with a neck cover instead of a brim since he always wears a cap under his toque! no pics yet though.

just cause! needed a red christmas headband in a hurry, so i took one of her plain beige cloth ones and tried something that worked! wrapped wired christmas ribbon around, pulled the wire to make a scrunch, little dab of hot glue and presto!

her wearing it later that day!
