Nathan was all sorts of naughty today!

Standing and jumping on the couch.

Stood on the handle of the oven drawer and pulled himself up with the handle on the oven door, opening it while it was on. Luckily I was right there and got him before he opened it too far.

Broke the only breakable thing in Noah's room. It was out if reach but he climbed up on the bed and grabbed and dropped it.

Standing/jumping on books ruining one.

Dragging matchbox cars across the walls.

This was alla today. I have a feeling time-outs may be in our near future. He is just too darn cute to get too upset with him.

Oh my goodness...just last night she:
- she climbed onto the kitchen table.
- she opened the oven door.
- she opened the fridge and took everything out.
- she found one of my lipsticks and made herself "pretty".

I've mentioned it before but the thing that absolutely drives me bananas is how she'll go and stand in front of a socket and say "No!", smack her own hand, and then unplug it anyway! ROFL There are only 2 plugs that she can get to, and we've been unable to find a way to hide them. One is in a room where we can shut the door, so we've started doing that when she unplugs it, but that hasn't stopped her!

A few of her other naughty tricks:

  • Pulling kitty's tail and trying to sit on him.
  • SCREAMING if she doesn't get her way.
  • Throwing all her toys over the banister to the lower floor, even when Mommy tells her no!
  • Running and jumping off the couch.
  • CLIMBING everything!!

I know most of it is just her learning and testing boundaries, but man alive. I'm beginning to think if toddlers could organize, they'd take over the world!!!

Kylee:

pulls all of the books off the bookshelf, and then pretends to read them and rip the pages out.

opens the dvd cases and gets the movies out..drives me insane!

changes the channel with the remote/ turns on the PS3/ carries around the controllers.

gets into my scrapbook stuff. she will go right for the drawers and try to open them and get stuff out! i had to move the scissors and sharp tools to a higher drawer..i almost had a heart attack when i saw scissors in her hand!

hitting and throwing toys. she has a mean arm and can easily nail you in the face with a toy. she is really into hitting us/the dog/ her brother. ugh.

gets into boxes! like a camera box and pulls everything out. ahhh.

OMG yes Toddlers Unit!!!!

jades usually pretty good but OMG when she's bad it's all at once!!
today:
colouring on everything except the paper (walls, toys, cupboards, ceramic tile floor, her foot, my pants, etc)
pulling dishes off the counter (spilled her supper before it was cool enough for her to eat even)
throwing toys (at us, at the cat, at breakables like the tv)
taking toys and not sharing which she's usually REALLY good at.
throwing her food
spitting out her food

in general:
breaking books in half (bent backwards)
pulling out diapers and randomly strewing them all over the house
forcibly kissing the cats

i can't even yell for the jumping on/off the couch since its a game daddy started and continues on the grounds that 'the instability of the couch is great for her balance' lol bite me and then prepare to buy a new couch!!!

Jordan does the same thing! If I hear her saying "no, no, no, no" then I know she is up to no good. Of course whatever she is doing, she knows she is not supposed to, but she is doing it anyway!

- climbs and stands on kitchen chairs/couch/ottoman, she thinks it's a game
- pulls stuff out of the pantry/fridge
- fights diaper changes like no other
- is way too rough with the dog
- pulls my hair

No wonder I am exhausted at the end of the day. She is trouble!
