Have you ever been pulled over?
*cough* a few times! LOL feminine talked my way out of most of them though! lol!
Don't drive so no.
I haven't, but I was in the car when my mom got pulled over. We were coming back from Washington DC and driving through West Virginia. We were listening to an audio book and it was getting really exciting. We were on the interstate but the limit was still 65 back then. She got pulled over for going 82 and got a ticket. She was soooooo angry and made me promise to never tell anyone. So you ladies are the only ones to know.
Yes. Speeding. Apparently I was going 72 in a 60. I didn't even know that my beat up old truck that I had at the time could go 72! HAHA! I did go to court though since I had never had a ticket and the judge reduced it from $172 down to $30.
i am happy to say that i have only been pulled over once, he claims i ran a red light when I paused and turned right. anywho, i didnt get a ticket because he knew i was right! ha! i have never been pulled over since then! i dont really count that as being pulled over because i was the only one on the road that night and i think he was just bored. my record is ticket free and has been that way for almost 10 years!
Once for me, about 10 years ago for speeding. Funny thing is, I was following my mom. I only got a verbal warning though.
A few times. Three times in the little college town where I attended undergrad, and those cops have almost nothing to do. Once I followed a semi through a left turn arrow that had expired (so running a red light) but I was too close to him and couldn't see it until it was too late. He did give me the ticket, $120 and that was at least 6 years ago. Boo. The other two times I was let go with a verbal warning.
I was pulled over in my town now a few months back. It's a wide road, two lanes each way, commercial area, but it's marked 35. So I was going about 45. He just let me go with a warning. It's easy to go slow in a residential area (wouldn't want people to speed on my street so I won't do it on their's, but harder when it's just businesses and trees!
Yes. A few times. I have rec'd two tickets. One for running a red light (that was yellow) and then another for speeding.
Four times. I had at least four speeding tickets, but I went to court and had them lowered to seat belt tickets.
