Thread: 23/24 week appt

Had my 23/24 weeks appt & everything went well. Kayden's heartbeat is finally measuring in the boy range lol-144. I gained 4 lbs since my last appt in November & weigh 138.5. Total weight gain is 10.5 lbs so far. He is also still laying in the same position, but was very active today while listening to him on the doppler. I have a growth ultrasound scheduled for Jan. 12th at 8:45 & an appt afterwards w/ my OB. Then on January 25th, I take my 1 hr glucose test & I'll be 28 weeks then. Just wanted to update you ladies!

That sounds like a lot of appointments crammed in there. You are going to be busy!! I'm glad to hear that everything went so well. I only get 2 u/s with my OB. The first one and the 18 week one, so I'm always jealous of mom's who get to see their LO more than that.

Thank you ladies! Yeah it is crazy that 28 weeks is so close!! Anna, I agree that I'm going to feel really busy with all my appts being so close together, but at 28 weeks my Dr. starts the bi-weekly appts, so I guess I am getting a sneak preview in January lol.

I only get 2 u/s too. Although I've had a few more for going to the ER and them wanting to check baby out (even though I told them at some times I wasn't concerned since he was moving a lot).

Anyway, I have my glucose test Jan 8th I think? I have to go in for blood work the 2nd week of Jan and then the 9th or 10th go in for results of the tests and get the rhogam shot (ugh). Hoping I pass my 1 hour!

It seems a lot crammed in huh? But man then when the drs do start doing the every other week appts it's gonna be crazier! I can't believe how close we're all getting! One of our friends just had their baby last night (she came two weeks early) and it's just so crazy seeming that soon all of us get to be having our little ones!!!

I hope you pass your 1 hour too! have you had problems with passing it in the past? I agree, that things are going pretty quickly because it seems like just the other day, we were all announcing our BFP's.

With my first I didn't pass but with my 2nd I did pass. So I'm hoping this time around I do because I really don't want to have to do a 3 hour ha!

But I agree, it does seem like we were all introducing ourselves and saying our EDD and now most of us had our big u/s and everything!

Sounds like a great appt! I can't believe how fast it seems to be going this time around! With my first two, it seemed to take forever.

Thanks Amanda! With my first son, I had to re-take my glucose test because I couldn't keep the drink down =/. I hope I have better luck this time, even though I am still having bouts of morning sickness with this baby boy.
